i started updateing at around 3pm est....and it was going pretty fast....i just got home from work, its 130 am est....and im at 52%....i was at 52% on my lunch break too....thats insane.
 
think of somthing good to release stress... like SEX! or Bunnies, not the1s Aeyka is gunna be killing tho
 
too late for the bunnies... SE didn't listen. Next up are the puppies....7 puppies....are you willing to listen yet SE?

p.s. If you get a chance please sacrifice my GF's "puppy" (She calls it a puppy even though its like 4 years old...) I hate that loud little shit!
 
I was at work for over eight hours. I left it on just before I went to work, came back and it still had over 20 minutes left. It got stuck somewhere along the line. I just cancelled and redid it and it's going now.

Edit: Nevermind. Still network congestion. Does anyone else agree with me in thinking that they should have held off the update until the servers are fixed from the attacks?
 
my god i sat here forever getting that 1160 error after i hit cancel...and finally, many hours later...i get past that...and its downloading, rather fast too....it picked up where i left off ^^

ive been playing the new wrestlemania 21 for xbox that came out today in the mean time.....dont believe the hype, i was VERY excited about this game...to only be let down.

hell the game has something wrong with it cause not a single person who owns it can get online with it....thats pretty sad
 
This is totally not a fun thing to keep going through. I'm just sitting here now staring at the screen making sure it doesn't freeze up at all. Of course, I should be studying for some exams I have later today, but why do that when I can see that cool background that says "Updating FINAL FANTASY XI. Please wait."
 
only took ~10 min. But i downloaded it like a day and a half later.
 
holy fuk. scratch that. i was only on the first section of updating, now im on to "downloading". yeah. this is gonna take all day o.o

dude my download froze at the funniest damn time i swear...

Yesterday was 4,20,05

my download froze at file 420/1101

my timer kept reseting to 00:04:20-30

and I'm being completely serious isnt that some odd ass shit for yesterday...
 
I'm 630/1079 now...freaking out cause it's like...almost at halfway. I love the lack of an ACTUAL life I have. XD At lesat it amuses my simple mind.
 
Started 6pm PST yesterday... didn't successfully complete until about 1:30am PST... This is after many d/c's and retrying constantly and finally falling asleep and waking up. Good thing I can watch to tv while doing this....

DEAR GOD! I reinstalled windows last night so i have todo the whole reinstall of ffxi, i installed the game last night, at 9:00 am est my fiancee started the update for it, its now 2:15pm and its only at 9%.................. thank god the ps2 is updated and working^^
 
I laughed so hard when I saw the new message from SE....

"We are experiencing congestion during the version update"

No kidding? What did they think, that we would take turns? :lol:
 
Don't you think though that you all complain now, but once you get that new armor thing, or check out the new area they put in, you'll be like... OMG, I HEART YOU SE! X D
