i cannot believe this damn update...

@ 80% now... started it like 4-5 hours ago. laff.
 
I just reached hour 7 of uninterrupted downloading on a T1 conneciton and it still isn't finished. Too bad they don't include file size info or kbsec rates to get a better perspective of just how fast(slow) we really are downloading. Probably left out because it's too embarresing. I wouldn't rule out 50kb a sec download rate at this point. :?

Yea I know... except most of us can not wear the armor or visit these new places...
 
Everyone do yourself a favour and don't even logout, if your using Windower FFXI, be grateful, I've been trying last 2 hour's trying to get back on and Error 1160

Don't logout of the game, in fact don't even logout just to mule anything, you might get a error there too.

Last night I had Search Failed come up few time's..

I bet pol is being DDoS too..so slow.
 
I downloaded it yesterday on PC in ~1 Hour. I'm trying to get the update on PS2 but it will take about 7 hours. Amazing that its still congested.
 
well after about 30 hours, i finished the update and was able to play for about an hour. The i went afk for like 2 hours and came back, to be found i was disconnected. now i try to log back on and i see my buddy ol' pal mr. ERROR 1160 ; ; fuggin updates >_<
 
i got it in 5 hrs...that was with playing xbox on the same tv so seeing error messages late. I though I had it bad
 
Error 1160 still lmao this is great...

Update from 3 hours from my previous post, nothing has changed.
 
Mine was done in under 2 hours. I actually started the update before maintenance was finished, which is kind of weird, because usually I can't even get connected until 8 or 9 hours after maintenance is done.
 
9 PST, still ERROR-1160, what the hell is going on...
