I believe you can use a phrase like "Fucking Sandoria isn't worth the shit it's build on." on the flameboard.
Again, my experience comes from EQ message boards, and there the flameboard was mainly populated with people who had nothing better to do than to talk other people they had met in game down, for whatever reason, and sometimes for no reason at all.
One useful application of the flameboard is the POMS list, name to be debated. POMS = pieces of monkey shit, basically players who did something horrible enough to be blacklisted on the server board for everyone to see. Ninjalooting (essentially stealing an item that dropped, not sure if that is even possible in FFXI), and other unacceptable behavior that would warrant a POMS listing. Stuff like "he said "fuck you" to me in game" doesn't qualify. A player would bring forth a request for adding anther player to the POMS list, the petitioner would have to make the case and provide proof of the accusation, then the server community would debate, and in the end the accused would either be added to the POMS list, or just flamed, depending on what really happened. Innocent until proven guilty beyond resaonable doubt doesn't necessarily apply.
Anyway, you guys are the users, the flameboard is ffa, do whatever you want with it, there is absolutly no moderation here, noting will be deleted or edited ever.
