To make a long story short, I was using the slicer irresponsibly and lopped a chunk off.

Um ... ouch ; ;. I'll bet that hurt like hell. I have to admit it's not as gross as what I thought it was gonna be, but then my dad had his hand mangled in a machine a long time ago (He's a maintenance mechanic), and they had to totally rebuild his hand. They had to skin graph his leg and put that skin on his hand yada yada.

Hope it heals for you nicely. It looks like it's gonna from the pic^^.
 
Yowch. Looks hella painful. Reminds me of the time me dad cut the end of his thumb off with a circular saw.... came into the house looking for paper towels and electrical tape so he could fix it up and finish what he was doing. O_o

Ya... hope it heals ok man.
 
Ouch i know how you feel i did that about a year ago with a very very sharp cutco knife sliced the whole top part off and you can actually tell where i cut it hope it heal as fast as mine did just keep covered and medicated at night and air out during the day , i did the opposite of what i just said and i learned my lesson >.< woke up with blood all over the bed and sheets . hope all goes well though
 
I know, it's not nearly as nasty as when I first cut it. It bled like a sonavabitch. Soaked threw the bandaid I slapped on it. It actually didn't hurt too bad, until I want to the hospital, and they had to rip the friggin bandaid off...

And May, they told me to keep it covered at all times, with a health dollap of triple anti-bacterial.

Once upon a time....in my younger, stupider days... a buddy of mine and I had a case of Sam Adams, and we were sitting in a parking lot, preparing to drink the beers. Sam Adams, unfortunately, is not a twist off cap.

So...were trying to pry these caps off, when i have the great idea that im going to use my car key. Im prying as hard as i can, when the key slips out, and the sharp under-end of the cap is run against my hand very fast, cutting me several times, and very deep. We go into the mall that we were parked outside of, as i am bleeding profusely from the hand. I go up to the service desk, where the lady cleans me up and puts a band-aid on it and tells me to go to the hospital.

...Being the health concious person that i am, i went to a store, in that very mall, bought a bottle opener, and drank me some Sam Adams.

Moral of the story, Sam Adams is not a twist-off cap, so don't use your key to try and open it....
 
I know a guy that while he was workin on a motorcycles chain (btw this guy is not the smartest guy in the world) the motorcycle turned on cut the tips off of all his fingers...i doubt yours could look like anything like that

My hubby opens beer bottles with the bottom of a Bic lighter. Don't ask me how, but it just pops off as if he had used a can opener.

But yea, back on topic.....all I can say is daaayum. That must have hurt like a son of a gun. ; ; I've never had any injuries like that before. I've dont alot of crazy and stupid stuff and have somehow always come out unscaved.
