So I joined up with Perfection recently because they have the attitude I have been looking for. Also, there are some old and new friends there, and I'm finally excited to get to some things I haven't done much...Like sky. xD
The LS environment is just what I was looking for. How that is cultivated is often overlooked, but Corvinus and others deserve credit for that to be certain. Since I joined, I have had nothing less than a blast every time I log on.
Tonight, I have extra thanks to give. I was finished messing around in VoS with Longarm, and he warped out and I was heading to Terrigan to OP warp home. I zone to Teriggan and before me stands Kreutzet, at 100%. A 75 THF (Seine) has him, but appears understaffed and as unprepared as I.
I announce it to the LS, and green text perks up quickly. Without asking once, people began volunteering to help out. Seine ends up taking a dirt nap pretty quickly. While wind weather was still up, I had to zone it a few times while help ran towards me from the outpost. I zoned back in and wind weather disappeared. I claim it and start chipping away.
At this point, help arrives.
Corvinus, Faytul and Longarm show up and are ready to lay a smack down. Buffs go up, and we're underway. The fight went pretty smooth, save the time I cast Ichi and cancelled Ni too late. Rather than risk it, I hit PD and toss up Ni seconds later. Everyone was on point.
Yes, Sirocco Kukri dropped, and I am thrilled to have one finally.
But the point of this thank you is not to rant and rave over another piece of gear obtained. The point is to say thank you to these guys and the Perfection LS for helping out. They do this all day, every day and it is very refreshing to be a part of, drops or not. You win some and lose some, but truly, how you play the game does matter.
You guys are awesome. ^^
