Normally these threads are dedicated for one event that happened and thanking everyone, etc. But I'm doing something a little different.
The past few months I've been bored and irritated with this game. Everything that I've been doing has been the same old thing. EXP'ing for hours on end, faming, etc. I left for close to a month, and even considered quitting at least until Treasures of Aht Urhgan came out. And when I came back, things weren't any better for me. I still had the same feelings. So to try and get myself out of the mood I was in, I created a "To do list" with a few things I wanted to get done for myself.
-Get chip for CoP 3-5
-Get Pendragon Axe
-Get Acha d'Armas
-Get a new WAR Test
Well last night I crossed the last item needed off (although I need another Test
). But it's not just getting the list done that has been getting me back into FFXI. It's been more than that. For once, I want to exp becuase I want to reach 70+. I want to farm for hours and get money so I can buy better equipment. And not only that, but I'm now starting to get some missions done as well.
Things have started turning around for me and making me enjoy the game even more. And I would like to thank all of my friends for helping me out and just being my friends. You all know who you are.

I've taken breaks from my "task list" in the game from time to time so I can stop and smell the flowers. Helping people with lower level tasks, drunken escort quests, ENMs, and others. Always staying productive (even minimally) and having fun has kept this game a happy place for me, which is nice because I care about the people so much.
