I got this creepy hand written letter...and then found some weirder stuff about it

So i got this hand written letter today, It literally creeped me right the F out.

First off the letter comes from someone named Ehi Uwumarogie in Illinois.
So the first weird part of the letter is they dated the letter as 2/08/10. My birthday.

The second creepy part is the broken english they wrote in. Here is what the letter said.

Dear Gary (my last name here),
How are you? I am fine. I go to work today. I watch football yesterday lastnight superbowl| Colts loss Saints win! 31-17 win! Crowd people player and coaches. I Finish school in Jacksonville, IL 61650. U will send your picture of you. By mail. Okay. I want go to cames visit you. I will get a suitcase, Smile! Ask misty and Norma. My phone number is (number here) maybe! Ask my aunt Paulette P. Have a nice day! Ask my sister Pamela Ross. P.S.

WTF!? seriously, who the hell is this person and why do they have my name, address and wrote a letter to me on my birthday. What the hell is this about them wanting me to mail them my picture and coming to visit me? I swear im thinking of getting a restraining order against this person whoever they are, if they show up at my house im gold berg spearing them off my porch.
But now heres the weird crap.
I did a search for this name to see if anyone else received a letter like this, Instead i found someone with this same name posting at many different sites...saying some of the same things they hand wrote me.

I could see if this was an email, but this was hand written to my house, so the idea of it being a bot is out...and they hand write the same way they type, Is this some messed up person who just locks on to people and writes them/stalks them? What if this dude/chick shows up at my damn house?
i found their myspace, they are apparently a 31 year old woman...
So what is this, a real person, some sort of hand written spam? Someone with a problem and they just try to contact alot of people.
I tell you, its a bit creepy to get this and find posts like that online...wtf?

id say its a randomly generated response to random shit. but not this! hand written letter. wtf! it seems that alot of repeating things are posted on the links you provided. shit about a suitcase and aunt and sister. hmmm. definately dont send a response. could be a setup to get information. if i ever got something like that, i would be afraid someone is attempting to steal my identity

well if it was a joke it wouldn't be post stamped from Illinois. I don't know anyone there at all. they even put their own printed address sticker on the envelope, and the post office stamp is right next to it. Its a page ripped out of a small note book, still has the fringes on it.
I checked to make sure it wasnt just some copied hand written image printed onto the page to make it look hand written, its not, you can see the indents on the back of the page from the pen.
never thought about someone tryin to steal my identity, and i guess that if someone wanted to that bad they would go through the trouble of writing a letter, but why a letter of broken english and jibberish, even talking about current events. It could be this, or it could be some mental person who for some reason talks about and repeats alot of the same stuff. I mean if i see a post online from back in 2007, this has been going on for awhile with this person. I have yet to find anything about anyone receiving a hand written letter like this though, thats mainly what i was looking for, i didnt expect to find posts with identical stuff on it from this person.
Still, its just weird as all hell.
I never planned to reply, that i am certain of...but maybe ill call that number just to see what the hell it goes to.

If she does show up its not funny. Why not ask the local authorities for some advice? I'm guessing it is rather harmless, maybe she just writes to random people?
I think you got a myspace or facebook right? Maybe she found a name she liked and decided to write a letter?
 
I'd take it to the local authorities before calling that number. If you do call it, I'd call it from like a public payphone, not a home, work, or cell. That is seriously weird, and it does sound like some kind of identity theft scam, IMO. Or it could just be someone who's a little bit special and is lonely.

Advice? Go to the cops or ignore it. Don't be phoning the number of visiting the address or anything like that.

Out of curiosity, do you and a celebrity share the same name? From googling that guy's name I get the impression he isn't all there. He could have done a random search for your name (if it's the same as a celebrity he likes) and came up with your address.

im gonna hit a payphone today and try that number. Im just too weirded out and curious to not figure it out.

and no, i do not share the same name as a celebrity, but i do have youtube vids and such that i get alot of attention for around here so who knows.
 
Share the number. Maybe it's some sort of elaborate ARG.
 
i searched online for people recieving hand written spam. didnt find much. but i did find someone recieving hand written spam. blatantly asking for a handout. they also stated they were in africa. yours doesnt really match that, but it does seem like something repetitive.
