is a new fad around here.

I myself haven't had a problem. Though Zakai has, I know most of the people here know him. He just got on about 20 minutes ago, finding quite a bit gone. Lets just say it's to the point most people would quit. Parts of AF gear missing, 300k, most of his PLD and DRG gear. All that stuff. So I'm basically curious if anyone has seen him on yesterday. (We were both at church)~ Plus, if anyone else in the past week has been hacked/anything else with passwords or something. I'm the only one with his account info and he hasen't used my computer to play (Since I sometimes us Windower) So that isn't it. Just curious if anyone has some news with recent reports of being hacked. Thanks.
 
There's at least 3 topics about this and all of them have the reason posted and how to fix it.
 
I'm not talking about how to fix this. I'm asking if anyone else has been hacked. He was able to log onto his account, how else would he know he had that gear missing.....................
 
Gawd Rappa r3ad the p0st! His friend is missing shit. Where the others just had their passwords changed through SE.

who would steal only 300k and throw only some parts of AF?

And what did he have in PLD and DRG gear? Possible he just spent those 300k while drunk and threw some pieces away in drunk-ness, or he spent the 300k, and the rest is due to lag which could be solved by going to a less laggy area.

Reason my password is too complicated to type in and remember while I'm at a drunk-level where I could possibly throw shit away =/ Which is usually around the time I'd hit 3 buttons at the same time while typing.
 
Gluttony sword, some Royal gear. 14k in CP. A few other things as well. ~ He wasn't drunk. Neither of us drink >.< ~ And he didn't do it out of a fit of rage either. They dropped the AF because it's a bitch to get back, and they dropped 3 of his coffer keys as well. And his Racial Gear (the 2nd set) and put him in Norg and de leveled this THF from 30 to 28 trying to get there.

I've known Zakai for 3 years, he wouldn't just up and drop his shit and not know about it.
 
Well, if you got hacked, it seems more likely that someone didn't do it to steal from him, but because he doesn't like him and wanted to screw him over, but too scared to go the full mile. I mean, nothing of what he lost is really all that expensive, and AF is easy to request.

It just seems odd, is all. Normally if someone gets "hacked for real", they take everything and drop most of all rare/ex that's hard to reattain. Unless your Taj, in that case you also change server.
 
Ouch.~ But yeah, I guess it's just him since so many people have seen this thread and no one said anything. The way I think this happened. Was about a year ago. He would use the Friends List Plus on our 2nd families computer. Well, about a year ago, we had a trojan on it. So maybe the info was hacked then. Who knows.

I'd suggest that he immediately change his password to a complex one.
