I hate j00 titan!

I fought Titan twice, I died each time too! ><

Battle 1: everything was going according to plan, it was all good, (heart beat went up like hell) I was doing what I was supposed to. When it came down to the last Searing light. What happens..IT DIDN'T WORK :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Ugh!! I was so angry too! and he had like NO HEALTH in his health bar!! grr

Battle 2: I wake up "hurray! im going to fight Titan today!" I get all ready, enter the battle. I go up to Titan, and use first SL, run back to the zone.

Carby was supposed to be dead soon, or something but he was far from dead and Titan was after me. So I used an ether and decided to do my 2nd Searing Light, but I thought it would screw me up.

Carby died and I tried resummoning (note i had the aquaveil and hermits wand with iis 25% down inturruption rate) NO DO THESE 2 THINGS WORK? OF COURSE NOT! :evil: :evil: So I'm sitting there resummoning..getting clubberd and I die.

IS there any way I can have titan not get hate from me when I 2 hour him? Or will he always come after me ;_; Because he doesn't attack Carby and that screws me up.
 
getting 3 searing lights off is probably the quickest way to beat those battles, but it's far from the safest. the best strategy i found was to have carby attack titan for about 1/4 his hp bar. splitting the 'ramp' to titan into three sections, just run back and forth when you resummon after carby dies, just staying near the range where you lose carby's hp bar. resummon as soon as carby goes down, and he'll auto-attack titan without you having to tell him to. just keep this up with yag drinks until you've eaten away about 25% of his hp, then start the searing lights. get one off, let carby tank until the timer runs down, pop a hi-ether and get off a second. that should kill titan, but just incase one of them gets resisted (as mine did, more than once haha) you've still got a third as backup.

one thing to mention, though: carby's weak and gets the hell beaten out of him, so don't expect him to hold hate very well. if titan comes running after you, just let him beat you in until carby can get hate back. running all over won't give carbuncle the chance to hit him while titan takes his anger out on you. the biggest part of this strategy is hate management, so be careful.
also, when you use searing light, be sure not to run away before it goes off. using the command will probably get you hate, and if titan moves away with you, carby will miss with searing light, and there went your mp ><
 
I plan on getting Shiva I guess when this blasted 2 hour is gone, if anyone has any special hints on her, greatly apprieciated!
 
Pretty much all the mini avatar fights are the same. Just try fighting them on either Lightsday or on that element's weak day. Although Ramuh requires that you have either WHM sub or an item that can Paralyna you - he uses an AoE Paralyze with a huge range at the start of the fight.
