PLD is 71 and i just finnished savage blade no more quest to do besides ZM, RANK,and promys and get my valor set. so why will i quit pld???? now that i unlocked its power?

PLD is easy mode tank...You are suppose to get hit AND you can cure yourself. Voke, Flash, BOOM insta full battle hate. Oi, the life of a PLD must be filled with hardship. Cry much?

for this guy i do voke,flash,cure 3, voke, flash, sentinel, rampart, cure 3.....

also spanking the mob for an average of 60 dmg does wonders for holding hate
only time i do lose hate is if the puller gets to trigger happy and pulls when my MP is around 50 and my abilitys are not ready..

I partied with him once myself, he used a Chiefkabob and some DD gear (I didn't look at specifics) along with his AF, pumped out a few 300-400 damage Vorpal Blades on the Tragopans in bibiki at 63~

Screw that.... I swap in STR/attk gear for WS. (however I would not use Attk food until merit pts) When you get to merit pts PLD gear DD all the time. I dont ever get anyone saying that I shouldne be doing that. I think GBO is overreacting to somthing somone said.

I switch my accessories up all the time just depends on the mob i have to tank items i use are
RINGS: x2Tiger rings, x2 Phalanx, x1 Hercules' ring
Back: Psilos mantle, Ammet mantle
Earrings: x1Angel, x2 merman, x1 hospitaler
Belt: sword belt +1, warwolf, and the other lv 71 belt that gives +48 mp +2 hp/mp. while healing i use this belt to rest w/out losing all tp with staff change after resting i switch back to warwolf or sword beltive been in a party wher nin was main tank and i was back up i switched to all attack and i was only a few dmg points shy from the samurai he was doing about 80-130 dmg i was doing 60-90 dmg per swing:bb:

I dont sacrifice That much defense
But you all know the majority of the people still live in the box and automatically think you are garbage

and i dont do this amout of DMG all the time so dont go saying crap and twisting it up to another pointless post there is no norm for dmg delt it depends on the type of mob we were fighting also. the past 5 parties ive done 0-70 dmg per swing average 40 dmg points dmg looks like this

37, 12, 35, 48,40, 12, 13, 17, 17! 50,49,56,60

Defender plays a big role on dmg lol
so i cancel that and hit berserk/warcry but i cancel that fast after flash goes away lol

I can do this as well for my PLD. The only difference is i use less mp and less mp from the mages. We all know PLD can do decent DMG but that's not your current role in a party.that extra 20-30 dmg you do can easily be done by the BLM who just casted cure 3 on you....

maybe you could even beef up on hp and outdo the dmg with one ws rather than little bits here and there.
1700 hp for me will do wonders for 300 tp

1. Are we sure this isn't a sockpuppet by someone trying to sound like an idiot?

2. VIT saving rolls. Think AD&D. +10 VIT is way better than +6 def, or even +10 def (What's the highest Vit ring at level 50, when you can wear Phalanx rings?)

3. I feel dirty for providing this guy with information that might prevent him from quitting his job earlier. ; ;
