actually, i have seen taru pld with hp around 1800-2k. hume pld with that much hp isnt uncommon. i can name 2 off of the top of my head.

ok now wake up kid cause it is verry uncommon i never even seen anyone with 1,800 hp most i ever seen was 1,500
also you all must have physical earring and that gigant mantle that adds +80 hp. now if you look at the prices of all that shit no fucken way i play long enough to make that much gil. unlike an asshats like u i cant play 24/7 i Have a life. took me two moths saving to be able to have the shit that i have now

with your tactics you use now, you will never get that r/e stuff. you need to have a shell that will choose you as a pld first. only way to get it is off of sky gods. last thing they want is a pld that wants to be a DD.
 
i am 71 pld was lv 65 since i can remember like for 4 moths straight just the past 2 moths i went from 65 to 71 i am a noob when it comes to lv 75's i dont know how to get any R/E stuff i look and most NM are 24 hr spawns and i do not have the time to camp them let alone i cant slo them as the guide says on just about all of the things i want or would like to have. yeah mayby once i get to fighing gods and stuff i will change but till then im still in party mode. yeah i do party with my defense gear on 70% of the time and yeah i get tired of doing the same crap over and ove is why i switch and try new stuff... i just started looking into end game stuff for plds on ala like 2 weeks ago. i search alla and find new items all the time and i try and get them and i cant either my friends are not on and most are only lv 50's i have maybe 2 lv 75 friends thats it
 
Its not that i want to be a DD. i carry defense gear with me at all times!!!!!!!
if im in a party and the mobs we are exp. off are not that tough i will grab my attack items and speed things up a lil. its not like i just run around with attack food and gear and no defense at all. IDk but people have a way of picking out the wrong things and over look what is said befor hand.

I AM LV 71!!!!! but i bet everyone who plays see's people with 1,800+ hp. like we see noobs in valkrum dunes. since the ps2 launch i have had help from lv 75's and have never seen 1,800 hp.. but i guess its verry common to see that. idk why everyone trips. all you knew how to do is criticize. insted of being like wow you never seen a lv 75 with 1,800 hp. NO you all have to make someone feel like shit or try to:nono: gonna take more to do that:bb: have a nice day biotch......:partytime:

actually, i have 2 merits into hp....every merit is only 10 hp. so, merits arent gonna help that much
 
This is... quite possibly the most pitiful OP I've ever seen on QCDN.

I'll just say this. If you're tank, you're tank. Not DD. If you wanna do both, go play ninja. If you wanna DD, go DD. Don't try to tank. But most PT's, for some strange reason, invite PLDs expecting them to tank.

You don't wanna get decent equip because it's off a 24-hour NM... The ONLY thing Masterorion's wearing off a 24-hour is the Invader's Earring (I think that's the 40 HP one). Everything else is the product of a few months in a sky LS, maybe not even that long.

Your "I'm level 71!" is no excuse. There's these things called forums, obviously you've discovered them. Now go find a PLD-specific one, and talk to them. Maybe you'll learn something. Or maybe you'll just piss and moan and go back to spewing nonsense at us.

At any rate... *lets the PLDs at 75 handle this*

i bet u hit mobs for 10-30 dmg offten where i will hit for 40-50 offten.

i tried to go all defense no attack use food no spartan hoplon and i take that much dmg 70-100 with tacos
90-120 with attack gear berserk active

Also not all parties are in the ideal spots for the level some mobs have low defense high attack or high defense low attack example: you cant rip through crabs the way you do with with goblins:nono:

I'll agree with you that the hoplon is a fun toy to play with, and it pwns ep mobs like none other, but i really doubt you're xping with it on a regular basis. For one thing, the Phalanx only lasts 3 min and the shield has a 10 minute cool down, with 30 sec delay. Even if you do own 3 like I do, using them to xp means you're gonna be without phalanx fairly frequently. Also, changing out the shield means you're gonna dump your tp.

Now you can use ws before you switch shields out, but then you're standing their without phalanx up even longer. Not to mention the fact that using the shield takes a few sec, and then you can't cast spells or use job ablitys for another 10 sec or so. So in the end, you've given up alot of good stats for something that is gonna be more trouble than its worth. Aslo, theres no way in hell you're getting hit for 0s with phalanx and berserk on against xp mobs. The phalanx from the sheild only reduces 17 dmg per hit, and with your "omg i do teh dmgs gud!!!11!" philosphy, I really doubt xp mobs are hitting you for 17 dmg.
