If it's not the annoying falls in la'thein platea that I have to ride a chocobo the perimiter of the canyon to find a way up a few foot grade, if it's not the wrong turn in Ordelle's that cost me about ten minutes getting a stupid quest item, and last but not least if it's not the fugly orcs...

IT'S DYING TWICE IN DAVOI!

Yeah, call me a noob and an idiot. I didn't read up on it, I just got my tonko for the orcs, the <pos> I need, and I went. I was finishing the paladin unlocking and just wanted my last pain in the ass key item.

*Fuck that old man too! SATA that old bastard!*

So here I am at the described <pos>... nadda. Juyst fugly orcs and a normal old orc well. Then one of the lizards decides to wander across the entire area just to get close enough to aggro me while I'm wonderign what's wrong. Maybe I didn't flag something... then comes the grrrr.

Well this is wonderful... in the deepest bowells of davoi and aggro. I do a flee to look for the well and figure I'll eat the death. No well in sight.

Second time I go forget my silent oils and double check the pos... only to get a god-damned repeat! I must not have flagged SOMETHING!

So here I de-level and lose my precious 45 which was primary for my farming run with a friend TONIGHT. I also cannot wear my new armor anymore and I sold my old which means... I get to buy back my armor.

Then there is the fact who would want me around for only 800xp? I'm hoping I get a shit pt this afternoon.... ;_;

All said, it's mostly my own fault, but I hate San'doria and I HATE whatever dumbshit designed it's terrain. There isn't a single part of bastok/windurst territory designed that poorly.

I even had the pleasure of getting off my chocobo at the halfway point of my secodn time out when trying to check a monster. So I waste dlots of unneccesary time, experiance, and even a few ninja tools, for nothing, even if i ahd succeeded it was only to unlock a job to lv when i'm bored.

Seriously? You don't mind having to run through 2 Gustabergs and that damn pass in the highlands to get out of/to Bastok? And how about that run through Meriphataud to get from Jeuno to Windy? They all suck.

Don't make me laugh, gustabergs are quick straight runs. No dips, drops, two feet cliffs you can't climb, not really much in the way of stuff you have to go around. You can hit autorun for about any area in Bastok. At least for a while before you adjust course a little.

You can't do that for a second in San'doria thanks to all the holes, trees, small grade you can't climb, and mountains.

Uh.. who wants to play a game full of lame, dull terrains? Ever heard of a map? No pun intended, just sounds lazy imo.

I find it funny that Yuhtunga/Yhoator/Uggalepih are more Maze/Labirynth-y than Maze of Shakhrami and Labirynth of Onzozo. -_-

ooooook so lemme get this str8, u hate San d'Oria because u died on the PLD quest??? LMFAO Tough luck seriously I died 4 times tryin to solo PLD quest hahahaha (and yes d-lv) but it was worth it :D I'm PLD64 now :P but the areas are good and complex like Log said who the hell wants plain old ass maps, we wanted to make sure we got good people from San d'Oria so we got the most complicated maps :P

It all depends on where you originated from. I find it easy as hell to get around Sandy and it's surrounding areas. Bastok is not too difficult, except for the Gustabergs and the fact that you have to run through both to get through one (if that makes sense). WINDURST... Put me in that city or anyplace associated with it and I want to strangle a Taru with a Mithra's tail. :twisted:

don't worry anderithe... i concur, i'd rather spend a lifetime traveling windy than 5 minutes hanging out with the snob elvaans in sandy...

go bastok... never forget the 2nd battle of kon<tab> highlands

There's always some dipshit shouting in Sandy.
Don't those children have something better to do, like play with their blocks and crayons?

My blocks were crushed, and i ate my crayons :cry:

I hate you Anderthie, but I hate San d'Oria more.

Your reason for hating San d'Oria is simply because you are a n00b.

Mine is much more complicated and important, so you can save your witty retort for someone else.

<That's too bad>
/comfort

Unfortunately, the dipshits still feel like that's the excuse to shout.

...Easter Egg fanatics need to just kill themselves, fyi.

But how will I ever be able to tank as a whm without my precious Fortune Egg and its godly VIT +1? :cry:

Some flame agiainst sandy. Your making fun of the areas around sandy not actually sandy itself.

*leaves before this thread turns into a flame about the races*

I got both my eggs finally and hopefully will never have to touch this event ever again....

However, I do notice a lot of shouting in the main zones in a city.

SOuth Sandy... LOTS of shouts
Bastok Markets LOTS of shouts
Windurst Woods Sometimes lots of shouts.

I'm bias, but I find Windy quieter.
