Shaid do the kind think and pass them onto a LS mate. Because one of my really good friend did that for me and i pretty much never take the boots off unless i am parting

That's most likely what I will do, gil is all but useless right now, everything I need is rare/ex and out of reach.. plus sentimental value makes them rock.
 
Yeah i never plan on getting rid of my boots. If i have to sell all my items i will give this item away to a close friend because of the meaning it has to me

long story made short: lvling blm atm was lvl 7 I decided to move farther down to xp, (I never xp by LL camp) unless ppl arent camping, anyway that day 1 person was there killing lizzards I started killing birds, ect. minding my buisness this guy examines me starts one shot killing everything in front of me. Kinda pissed me off a lil but moved on.

My laundry I was doing was done, I kneel to rest mp by the road come back to see LL walk by. Drop my laundry get up and bind LL last all of like 10 sec. but I was going take the death, just to get a lil revenge. LL comes unbound, random whm came by cured me, I nuke again whm cheers me on, I go to 2hr get stoned, 2hr wears off while stoned, LL less then 1/4 life left I start clubbing it w/ my lvl 1 club for 0-1 dmg a hit.. whm still curing, LL fianlly dies... Pheebe obtains: Bounding Boots...

Who needs a thf just a lvl 7 BLM and a whm to cure you ^^ Yes revenge was sweet sent the idiot a /tell saying I just killed LL have a good day got drop too. Next time dont kill my xp mobs.

RA/EX level 7 boots should drop with a bit more frequency.

Forget the Bounding, Jag. Keep your Leaping...You can mule those. ^^
 
The trick to getting the boots is to keep killing it over and over, one after another. Killing it a spawn here and a spawn there always leads to bad luck.
 
Yah, that has always been my experience. It's almost as if the game modifies the drop rates to make sure a certain amount are dropped within a period of time. Call it law of averages or what not, but it there are always a constant supply of NM drops of items on AH when it should be very possible one day none are available and the next there is a severe over abundance, yet I have never seen that happen.
 
Lavi, that can be explained pretty easily... most people don't sell their NM drops the moment they get them. Actual listing of items usually end up being spread out over time, partly because most people are smart enough to realise that more up = more chance of undercutting = price goes down

No way ;p I want to sell my LLs so I'll be a mil closer to dusk gloves so I can be a better thf and ninja.
 
Eh just keep at it. LL isnt too hard. I used to be 0/10, but now im like 6/30(all the way to 29th claim was for leaping boots, not bounding)

That's encouraging. If I go 0/55 and still don't have bounding boots i can call my own, someone at SE will die.
 
I'm like 3/7 on him... I know I have 3, but around 7 or 8 or so. Does this constitute me as really freaking lucky?

it seems he only brings the boots when youre not interested in getting it ...

0/12 camped him for 2 full days while on holiday then acouple weeks later while running through gusta he was standing by himself and he gave me his boots
 
im about 3/7 on them now. i got my boots first try and helped 2 others get them within 2 weeks. i plan on gettin them for my wife and few other friends.
 
Alright I got them. 1/13, lucky number 13.

Now that I'm done with that ho-bag tramp of an NM, I can move on to the skank emperor.
