ok, starting off, this is my first flame, but he had it coming.

but anyway, when you make a pt, the first thing you think about is the parties 'team spirit' right? :crazy: yaaa...... ok well, this is going out to enrollox.

i'm lvl'ing my whm35 for rdm sub, and only 2 people were seeking, so i get a nin37 and and war35, along with my g/f 35brd, were 4/6, so i went out on a limb to ask some non-lfg people. and to my suprise i got a rng, score i'm thinking... now i just find another DD and were off.. i ask a blm, no go...i ask a mnk no go... so i ask a thf thinking nin + thf good stuff, i just want 37

well the nin has to go... so were stuck w/o a tank. i find a pld but he's in dunes pl'ing, he dosen't have altep gate crystal so i say choco to bastok and go threw k.Tunnel, we'll exp in W.altep desert (CN had 4 pt's in it), so the thf decides to "escort" him threw the tunnel and "kill everything in the way." now K.tunnel is a good distance and i'm here for exp not how ever long that will take. well turns out me, my g/f, the war and rng all tele and he's just toke off on airship... pld is starting to make his way threw tunnel at this time.

enrollox gets upset we didn't follow his rule and decides to disband scine we don't have team spirit. well needless to say, pld made it threw, we got a better drg to replace him and made 10.5k exp in a little around 2 - 2 1/2 hours

so just a fair warning not to invite this cry baby to your pt's, you'll have a much better time.

That is a perfect examine of an "elitest". I like how you told him how he pulled the "I have a +70 job and ur a noob blah blah" that was nice. Im glad your pt did make it through thou~ It worked out to a happy ending =P

To make a long story short, the PLD didn't have Altep crystal so he went through Korroloka Tunnel. The THF said he'd go take the PLD through but once the others teleported, he disband party saying they had no team spirit and start in on his "Oh I've got high level jobs. This is just my mule" to Roadkill.

It just looks like he didn't have the patience to wait a few minutes for the PLD to make it through so he got pissed and blamed his leave on the party. He sat there and said himself that he did not want an hour of aggro in Korroloka. So then why did he offer to go in the first place? If you're going to get aggro, 2 people or 6 people, it doesn't matter how many go. You have a higher chance of aggro with 6 people than you do with 2, anyway.

Instead of him asking nicely if he had to escort the guy, he said "so I have to escort this chump". That's pretty impolite to me. I'm always more than happy to go back and escort someone.

It was pretty immature of him to say start sending you tells like that. He should of just dropped party and left it alone. It's bad enough he wanted to leave because he didn't want to wait, but when it came to leaving, he couldn't drop it.

On the other hand, you guys are a party. You should of gone and helped the PLD through the tunnel. It was not like you guys were already out exping and he was a replacement. You said you didn't want to "dredge through all the tunnel". You really don't have much room to talk on this flame. He wasn't mad because you guys didn't have team spirit. He was mad that no one else would go with and help the PLD, too.

Also, it's not very polite of you to come on here and say "well we got a better DRG and..". You have no idea how good or bad the THF was. In that sentence alone, you are cutting down the THFs ability to do his job when you have no clue how he performed. Just because he said some crap, doesn't mean he's not a good THF. If that was meant to be "Well we got a DRG that had a better attitude", you should of worded it that way so others don't think the THF can't do his job.

But here's the thing...There are some cases, like G3 comes to mind, when less is just better. Why are you going to take a fleet of people when you can do something safely by yourself with sneaks or with one other person? Yes, a party is a party, and maybe the key thing here is if the PLD had asked for someone's help to get through the tunnel then he would have gotten the help. Since he didn't ask for the help, however, I don't think having 5 other party members make a very unneccesary stroll through quite a distance of aggressive mobs is a good choice for a leader to make for his party. Bottom line is, the PLD said OK to coming to the party knowing what that meant if he didn't have a crystal. Enrollox made a party decision that wasn't his to make... took off on an airship, then got all pissy because none of the rest of us followed suit. The only person not showing any "team spirit" was him. The PLD arrived without event and the party went on successfully after that. I think the point Road's trying to make is 1) don't go off on a tangent on your own then try to lecture people about "team spirit" and 2) don't lecture other people on how high your other jobs are when your behavior speaks more of your quality as a player than any job level does.
 
I invited Enrollox to my PT once at 60. He had his Empress Band on the entire time, no head gear, a Holy Phial, and his Elvaan RSE pants that give DEX and AGI.

i say a better drg not to = skill, because the pt setup. to make distortion, the rng would have to stand at point blank range, and then that would have ess chance of turning it to make a succsesful SC, and no MB. it would have been more trouble then it's worth, so yes a better drg made it simple.

thou i'm sure the drg had more skill then this particular thf imo

If your tank and melee are around 37 thats ok, mages can always enter zones early.
 
Well, I would hesitate calling this guy overly boastful in any of your /tell's as it's kind of the pot calling the kettle black, your the biggest braggart I personally have met in this game RK, never bothered me really, just who you were. And you were usually pretty helpful with alot of stuff.

Then you haven't met 3/4 of quezy...and unlike some people, Road helps many without bitching and moaning ad nauseum when things don't go the way they want them to and half cocked at that. If you care so little about what Road thinks as you told me not too long ago then why are you making little jabs like this on a flameboard? Especially when it doesn't particularly have anything to do with the topic?

ahhh, love is a beautiful thing.

So because I don't care what RK thinks, doesn't mean I can't point out hypocrisy as I see it? There are more cocky people in the game I'm sure, but none that I used to consider friends, unfortunately that ship sailed after RK decided I was no long worthy of being heard, oh well, so sad, I'm not loosing sleep over it. But then again I don't pop onto ls' I haven't been on in a year to brag I dinged 75 and can solo this and solo that and am killing this god and that god. Nothing wrong with that, it's the way some people are, and I accept that.

And I take that middle part as a jab at me, which the half cocked part may be true(I make no bones about it, I'm a hot head and do act before thinking), but I don't recall bitching or moaning at all until well after implied event(which was all done in /tell to you which I apologized for once I had been corrected). The fact is I helped him long ago before he was level 75, when I was a higher level, never wanting anything in return never, asking for anything in return and never receiving anything in return.

Defend your man all you want, but if you do a flame on an interent message board, you better be willing to take it as well and not act shocked. Personally the whole "This person sucks, avoid them" flame seems to me to be just asking for validation. He wants to aire dirty laundry on other people, he is fair game. I really don't see how the individual being flamed did anything particularly nasty that warrants an ass chewing on QCDN flameboard.....
