But how much is a stack of nebis there? Cockatrice meat? Beehive chips? Other crystals? Silk thread? There's a lot of items people farm, and if the prices of those items are up that high as well, the only real difference is that NPC buy/sell prices are less relevant. Yes, if you look at their prices for a few things and assume that everything else is the same, it looks hard... but that's a faulty assumption.

You know, i was thinking that if they just up and slashed everybodies gil in half, and cut all items on the AH in half, it would basically solve inflation problems lol. I mean everyone would basically still be in the same situation right?

And yes, I doubt that its any different on Asura. Here a stack of crystals goes for like 3-4k (fire anyways). Shihei goes for 7k-ish... So if you just added a couple thousand to each it would equal Asura prices. So that leads me to believe that everything else is relatively equal to our degree of pricing, just everything is worth more.

I mean cripes, never thought Id see the day bat wings were 5k ...

Dear lord. Here I sit trying to figure out how i'm gonna raise 550,000 for Erase (or maybe even 600,000, as two in Jeuno recently sold for...). I cant even begin to imagine how i'd ever raise a million gil. I've never had more than a hundred thousand in my pocket! Christ.

Not really. If everything was higher, the value of any specific item wouldnt increase. So it would be same amount of competition as normal.

It's a price comparison, I never said productivity was hard there until my second post. The point of the post is that you shouldn't really complain about how bad the economy is here when it can much more of a struggle elsewhere. if you fail to believe that then you wouldn't mind switching to Asura now would you?
