I was bored and looking though weapons on ffxiclopedia and can across there hidden effect page. (if you have no seen it I recommend you do. click on hidden effect.)
Then I started to wondering some things like why is the maneater and Blau Dolch considered one the best axes/dagger for warrior/thief but the Wagh Baghnakhs don't even get a notice. I can see the destroyer being good for hnm/bcnm because the wagh effect only work when under 100% tp but in a exp party would not the wagh be a better choice? If not then why is the man eatter such a big choice for the maneater/ridill people?
Another weapon which does not get much look at is the Ryumon
this katana is a 38dmg 227delay with 1.25% atk bonus (3.8% in besieged) when shadows are up.
Now I've heard the reason this one not notice is because most ninja have a str setup so there atk not all that good to notice a big difference from the atk bonus. Is that the only reason?
Are these weapon just not popular because people don't know there hidden/latent effects or just because they don't compare to there already in use counterparts?
