Josudes et al.: Shit luck that this kind of crap happened to the lot of you. This thread drives home the entire point of this OTHER thread. Personally, I wouldn't have waited as long to leave; things appeared to be going downhill in that shell since the inglorious event of '07 (has anyone *seen* Soulstar since?).

As others have said, more stable social shells exist, and best of luck in finding one.

And another page in 'as the brotherhood turns' is completed. I wont go on a history rant I saw elements of this behaviour from them over two years ago when the last shell they were on got busted up.

Josudes and others I hope you all find a better place more deserving of your time, lifes too short to be spent arguing in a game we play for fun.

Of course, with every flame, there is another side to this story. I'll deliver it for you...

Kirameki constantly broke LS rules (which any trained monkey could follow). Excessive swearing (We're not G-rated, but try to keep the dirty talk to a minimum because it is an all-ages linkshell) definitely didn't work to his advantage, nor did his ethic towards assisting others. Its not a Nazi-esqe help system, but is it really that hard to chip in every once in a while for people that have constantly helped you? I personally don't think so.

As for the others: How would you feel if you were a LS leader, and you kicked someone (for whatever reason) and then someone was feeding them pearls behind the scenes? That was Josudes, They even admitted to it after one of the other LS leaders caught them in the act. I would have booted you on the spot Jos, sorry to say. The others talking behind the leaders back was also very disrespectful, but I'm still friends with Kelga and Reiyn, so I won't divulge my feelings about their removal.

I'd imagine the others will be around to defend themselves, but thats my take on the whole fiasco.

I kinda loled, when Kelga told me Xean felt he was a co-conspirator of the downfall of TBH because Kelga is RL friends w/ me. That i must have that much of a "Mind controlling" agent, that can control people.

I actually really Loled.

When members leave or a group of leaders is forced to kick 1/2 their membership because of the way the members feel.... It might not be the members that are the bad ones :\
 
but Tim, from what the tell conversation shown, it is more than bringing back a removed LS member. I think if a sack holder brought back a removed member, I think the leader should talk to them instead of just kick everyone who disagree with their decision. Also, what kind of stuff was been talked about behind the leaders' back? It seems that they were talking while leaders' wasnt around, which mean someone who was present when the conversation happened, told the leaders' something, which might had been misunderstanding of the conversation due to bias.

I'd have to agree with Spalko on this one. Second hand info isn't reliable unless you've got screenshots of the conversation. Decisions based on second hand info from someone who may or may not have a biased take on the conversation is, in my opinion, not a good idea. Especially when it culminates in the dismissal of so many people. The fact that certain remarks were made about a particular person...well...we all know the law about free speech in this country. I think they should apply everywhere. Cursing aside, I think we should be able to speak about what's on our minds to our friends, in or out of the linkshell. So what if the "boss" isn't around to hear it. An opinion is just that, not a malicious attack on someone. (If thats what it was, I don't know personally, I wasn't there.) I think people should be allowed their opinions and shouldn't be reprimanded for them.

I created it for Campaign, and I opened it up to some TBH friends looking to get away from some of the drama going on. It is not supposed to represent anything against Zer, Xean or any of the TBH members I am still friends with.

Find another home, because you're not using mine anymore. Get your facts straight before you start bringing up people who don't want to have anything to do with your little war.

(A) Like I said, if it was my LS, and someone was giving out 10+ pearls to a banned member, I'd kick them out too. Defeat the negative before the negative defeats you, right?

(B) Hurtful insults. I'm not one for the sentimental crap, but talking behind someones back about their weight/ethnicity/appearance/whatever the case may be is a pretty dick move. Now to do it to people who are not only the leaders of your LS, but who were also considered "friends", well...that just says alot about the character of the people in question.

You of all people should know Sparky, The LS is more like a family than a social club. We share photos and stories, good news and bad news, things I wouldn't tell any of the people I consider friends from QCDN were common talk in TBH. When things of this nature happen however, it proves that some people just have zero concern for others feelings and very few morals as well.

I wish I was paying attention last night when Jos logged in, because I would have loved to have been the one to crack his fucking pearl in two.
