I made a mistake "TheBrotherhood Collapses"

Maybe I'm blind to what initially caused the problems before this dramatic turn of events. Maybe I'm just too new to the LS to get a good grasp of what happens where and who hates the guts of who. I personally got on very well with the 'late crew' and got on very well with the Zer, Xean etc.

What seems to have happened is a mole hill got turned into a mountain by several people (on both sides) this escalated into a situation where open defiance of leadership and group discussions about giving multiple pearls and leaving the LS wasn't hidden in any way when leaders weren't on the LS. Even though I liked these people and had fun with these people, if it gets to that stage, you either have to leave on your own, or mend bridges fast.

Too many strong willed people were involved in this for an amicable outcome. The end result was inevitable. Whether it was people being kicked or people just leaving. I personally wish all the best for the people who got kicked, but I feel comfortable with those left in the LS and would be happy to carry on with them, working together in game and socially.

Shame I couldn't add petrol to any flames, but I don't have any and just wanna get on with game a bit more.

You cannot blame someone for doing the above mention. Research have shown that most people tends to remember bad stuffs easier than good stuffs. At the point of time, that certain "incident" might not have bugged you . But when you started in a heated conservation with someone, every single incident that was once considered not "bugged" will also be listed out. It will all be show hand as "evidence" for back up. I don't blame people for doing this. I believe almost every single people in a argument will do such things. Typical human ^^.

No STFU about being poor all the time and go level another job you gimp.

BLM
You over glorfied nuke machines. Takes you what, 50 levels to figure out how to play your job without getting everyone killed? You retards. No wonder SE had to go and nerf your job, you are the magic equivalent of a MNK. Of course since the majority of you are taru’s we can already assume you’re just a weeaboo with a pedo complex.

RDM
Refresh. That’s all we want you for, that’s all we need you for. To the above passage, please do not ever do this unless the person who you are speaking to knows you very well. Not everyone is a worm in your stomach. We will never know what you thinks. I believe the above replies have already shown you that. The main problem is as followed. Consider this, A person who written the above post out of a joke and a person who is serious about the above post but discover it bring alot of trouble and start to kid it out as a joke. How are you going to differentiate both of them? Like i have previously stated, you cant differentiate them.

Secondly, to most people, first impression is very important. If a new comer or if you just enter a shell and post such messages, most of the people will not like you. From than, it will be down slope and they will continue to dislike you until otherwise you can prove yourself differently GREATLY.

I stress the word greatly because like what i have say to viliurum, most people tends to remember the bad things more often than the good things. Hard to accept but is the undeniable truth.

I totally understand you don't have a long history with the LS. I was there from the beginning of the LS. (I was in the Wolf Clan which also broke because of an issue involving Zer and Xean.) I was always called a co-founder but kind of just treated as someone whose opinion was mildly important only in instances of their choice. Not to say that they treated me in an unfriendly manner until recently but they always have someone they are looking to make a mistake and in turn boot. Anyway there is much history that hasn't been posted here. Bringing up my life is a damn low blow if you knew anything about my life and Xean did just that. He used my mistakes in RL to try to make a fool of me, yet said I was trying to make a fool of him. Anyway I really don't know what else to say.. BTW I don't hate them I just don't see myself getting along with them ever again. GL in TBH I wish you the best.

I didn't say it wasn't human to bring it up, but that it was very poor form, and *not* behavior that should be exhibited by someone who's supposed to be objective and fair. It's understandable to bring it up, we *are* all human after all. But after the fact, said leadership should be willing to say something to the tune of:

"You know, I really shouldn't have shit on you about all those things - they *had* been bugging me, but since I hadn't said anything to you about them earlier, I shouldn't have involved them in the discussion. In regards to (insert the last event that prompted everything) on its own, my opinion is (insert consequences, which are fair for that event on its own, and Might Even Include Reversing A Previous Leadership Decision). However, once this cools down, we should also try to resolve that other stuff as well, on an individual point by point basis. Sorry for blowing up at you, that was unprofessional of me."

It gets back to my point about how good leadership should *not* adopt an attitude of never admitting any wrongdoing on their own part, and should *not* take "stick to your guns" to unreasonable extremes. Leadership, even good leadership, is human and flawed and will sometimes make mistakes. And you get more respect for admitting to and trying to correct a mistake, than for pretending you're perfect and lashing out at anyone who disagrees with your so-called perfection. :P

You obviously don't want to be wishy-washy either, so good leadership will also try to keep a level head, an objective and logical view point, make decisions only after seeing the whole picture, and by these methods hopefully not make too many big mistakes in the first place. But it does happen to the best of us, and what really sets quality leaders (really, quality *people* in general) apart is how they handle their mistakes.

Incidentally, in regards to the "job rant" - I find it very surprising that *anyone* (who isn't brand new to teh intarwebz) could read that and *not* realize it's a tongue in cheek joke, giving equal opportunity making-fun to all jobs for the sake of fairness, so it's not *only* PUP that gets made fun of.

Personally I see no problem with such a joke - I'd be more concerned about anyone who managed to get bent out of shape over it. Since that would tend to imply insecurity, a really thin skin, or the inability to identify (or take) a joke. (Yes, I know, there's overlap between those.) All of which are rather bigger concerns than *making* a joke in the first place. :P

When a pup outparses a war, the pup has to be very very good, and the war has to be gimped even in terms of AH gear, much less "pimped" shows that he has something more than a hauby and AF feet/hands that he is full timing.
