I miss FFXI and everybody in it :( I even miss the shit headed jerks that make me cringe when i see them running around or showing up in a party list. I know I have made posts like this one before but I don't post here a whole lot I mostly just read what other people are talking about. Anyways back to topic... I finally was able to find a 2nd job (for total real this time) and I am still trying to talk my brother into getting the internet. He says he would much rather have cable TV but that is stupid >.> So anyways if I am able to come back shortly 1. am I going to have to buy wings of the goddess off the internet> and 2. will I recognize the game I am now playing?

Nothing much has changed really, although I'm seeing a lot more people with stuff I cringe to look at. That's probably just me though. I still suggest you try to get WotG if you can.

Possibly. Whenever expansions are released in my area the stores get a couple copies for the shelves aside from reserves. After those are gone, you don't really see them back in stock. (I play on PC, I'm not sure about 360 or PS) I don't live in the woods or anything either. I'm just north of the Bronx.

Yes and no. A lot of stuff is still the same of course, but you don't find many people doing the more dated things/events. Campaign is the hot thing now and pretty much the saving grace of the WotG expansion. Good news is that its easy to get the hang of.

not much else to contribute but hi meagan!

also, WoTG is nice because of its campaign system works like besieged but shorter, you fight anywhere in the past for small amounts of exp, and usually there's almost always a fight going on so you can accumulate exp and AN(point currency for rank items); however you cannot skill up with campaign status( it's a sword icon that's next to your name you choose from the npc there), you can skill up without the status however.

Good to see things flowing your way hope to see you back.

When I came back from hiatus about six weeks ago, I could not find Wings in any local store. Checked two Walmarts, a K-Mart, and an Electronics Boutique. I was especially surprised EB didn't have it. I ended up ordering it off Amazon.

As has already been said, you'll catch up pretty quickly. I was gone for almost two years and it feels like I was hardly gone at all.

Oddly enough when I was at a Gamestop Friday they had multiple copies of not only the WotG expansion and full game + expansions in every platform, they also had 2 copies of just the CoP expansion for the PC. It was weird actually... >.>

kinda like every store in clarksville having lots of smash bro copies but no wiis....

I had no trouble obtaining a wii in clarksville. But then again my brother's a gamestop manager so I always get whatever I want cause he holds it for me. h4x, etc.

True, it's only during the period of 9:00am-12:00pm that you have a chance to obtain one unfortunately I'm usually in school then, since that's when they get shipments.

Been sold out since christmas I'll probrably snag one during the summer.
