Footage of an early version of a Ghostbusters game for the 360 has surfaced, and I must say, it looks awesome for being so early in development.

At first I thought it was just some Gear of War mod or something to that effect, but the company who is making it, ZooFly, has confirmed that it is indeed real footage. Development has somewhat stopped for the moment though, since they are having trouble getting the rights to make the game. I can see something of a sandbox game where you just take calls to catch ghosts, eventually leading up to something like Gozer of Vigo. And online co-op would be awesome as well. Nice... man 360 is looking better and better every day. Especially with the recent sneak peeks at onboard HDMI and pseudo-MCE frontend access.
 
3 words man, Gears of War. Only reason you need to get a 360. That looks pretty dec though too.

omfg i never even heard of this, that looks fuckin awesome. Honestly i didnt think 360 was gonna pull anything off, i thought it would be the second system i bought just for halo...but soooo many games comin or have come that make it sooo sweet, and all the ps3 exclusives are quickly becoming non exclusive and sweetening the pot.
Been playin gears, ultimate alliance and halo 2 alot still but i got alot of games to play right now...enchanted arms...sonic...dead rising. havent even started those.

i cannot wait for this game.
 
The reviews for Lost Planet have been so so. While this game looks awesome, it's not all I want a 360 for. Just another thing. I want Dead Rising, Halo 2 (since I own an Xbox copy and don't even own a regular Xbox), Halo 3 when it's out, I wouldn't mind Gears of War (good game, but I don't think it's the best game ever), as well as a few others out there.

I'm way more interested in the 360 than I was the original Xbox.

As soon as i saw this topic i said to myself "Exo has one for sale". Haha. Why you ditchin yours? I thought Halo 2 and GoW owned you?
 
If I ever get a 360 it'd be for Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Cry-On, Eternal Sonata and Infinite Undiscovery, not a big fan of the action/shooter games, but with rpgs I'm golden, and 360 is getting a shitload more than the original Xbox did.
Now if only FFXIII/FFXIII versus came out for it, I wouldn't have to buy a PS3(Well that's a lie, even though I'm not a big fan of the action/shooter titles, I'll still be playing MGS4, DMC4, RE5, and so on)

Well, there's still White Knight Story, and that game looks damned amazing, and is by Level 5 and being published by Sony, so I won't wish for something that won't happen.

Anyways, on-topic, since I probably won't fulfill my lifelong dream of seeing a Ghostbusters 3 flick, a game is the next best thing.

I was thinking the same thing myself. I heard Dan Akroyd has been wanting to make Ghostbusters 3 for a while now, but he hasn't really gotten anyone to sign on it. I'm hoping that he has the rights to the franchise, and not Columbia. Only reason I fear for Columbia is because they're owned by Sony. And I can just see it now "You're developing a game for the Xbox 360? Why not the PlayStation 3?" Or maybe Sony Pictures won't really care and let it go ahead anyway.

But anyways, since I strayed off of my point there, this will hopefully be what we can see for Ghostbusters 3 if they're not going to make a movie, and I'm also hoping Dan Akroyd also has something to do with the story of it.

To Excalibr: You're right, the Xbox was trash. However, the Xbox 360 is not the Xbox. I really hated the Xbox.

Dont buy dead rising! That game sucks the donkey. Fun for maybe 3 days...and only fun for killing the zombies in different ways. Storyline blows.

There's a story? I thought it was just a survival thing, infinite zombies in the mall, just survive until you can get out. That's all I'd want to do anyways, kill hundreds of zombies in any way I could think of.

I'm starting to look at getting a 360, Microsoft has finally started getting exclusive games that don't suck. Ghostbusters(if they ever get the liscensing) would be a great incentive.

You see, what you just said is what the game SHOULD be like. All i wanted to do...was kill zombies for endless hours, and i was having a great time. All of the sudden the game said i failed, and gave me a game over. I mean yeah, i know i was ignoring the missions and such, but i just ignored that. Because i was having to much fun killing zombies. I wish it would of failed me, but still let me continue to kill lol.

And I second that prot, halo 3 will be saaaweeeet.

Thats right. I feel Halo is overrated. I have more fun playing Tournament. But thats just my opinion.

Though my interest for a 360 is going up as well. Friend of my brothers brought it over and we played it on the 46" high def TV at 1080i. Lets just say it was really really sexy. Gears of War and Fight Night Round 3 looked really good. Plus I explored all the online content and that alone kept me busy for like an hour or so. Didn't know there was so much involved.
