I need a HEAT WAVE for SMN job quest !

I got my fire in Meriphutad Mountains it seems fire occurs there most often at least to me.

I waited 2hrs in West altepa i think from korroloa tunnel from ice day to firesday and not a single heat wave popped
 
It took me forever to get Fire too.

When it finally happened I was in a party in teh dunes, but I had forgotten my ruby in my MH. I charged a gob, got killed, and HP'd back to Windy. Grabbed the ruby and hauled ass back to Valkrum.

Good news was I managed to finish my quest.
Bad news was I got a ton of hate /tells from my party members, for leaving them whm-less and alone.

Good luck, SMN is a lot of fun.
 
don't know if you got it, but if you want to spend a little time for guaranteed weather, go to Ifrit's Cauldron and make your way into Cloister of Flames. Its always double fire there. It is way out of the way and it will more than likely get someone killed on the trip, but its guaranteed.

I think that's a dungeon and they don't count.
 
Funny, I got heat just fine. Lightning was a pain in the ass though.
