I need help [Spinoff of "Lets talk about rules"]

My best guess, you stand there for about 4-5 hours, try, get no drop or an nq item, repeat the process for 2-3 months until you get pissed and just buy the fucker from the AH, cursing the RMT who listed it there, then equip it, and go back to being afk for 5-6 hours at a time.^^
 
You mean there is a WoW forum where people discuss World of Warcraft? Whoda thunk it? I guess posts about FFXI on Quetzalcoatl sever don't really belong here, they really wouldn't be relevent to this forum. I'm so sorry to have bothered you.

Oops, my bad. I didn't realize that WoW players had a forum of their own to post about the World of Warcraft game. My post isn't really relevent to this forum, please disregard it completely because it really doesn't belong here.

I guess the reason it doesn't belong here is because this forum really doesn't have anything to do with FFXI on Quetzalcoatl. It's for WoW players, I can see that now. I'm glad you guys have an area that is specific to your game. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I enjoy the FFXI areas of the forum.

Really it will save you from trolls if I do it! I want to create a FFXI tempest in a WoW teapot! You guys have got it all wrong, you aren't following the rules, you aren't interpreting them correctly! The fact that I don't play WoW doesn't really matter does it? I can stomp in here and wave my opinion around like a flag can't I? I mean it's a free forum isn't it?

Pardon me, I got excited for a moment. I know you don't want me in your WoW forum, posting stuff you don't really care about, so I will leave peacefully and without making a fuss. I would like to come back and harass bedwarmer sometimes if that's okay.

I see what you did there. You took Mokk's arguments, about a cross community forum, and made it totally one sided, then came here and dropped it off, as a paradoy. I like it. Thats a good one.

Unfortunatley your logic was bad hon. See, Mokk didn't bust into the FB flaming a specific occourance from Warcraft, he flamed people in MMO's as a group, citing examples from WoW. I really don't understand why just because a guy makes a topic that directly resides within the paramaters of the FB guidelines is met with nothing short of a pack of dogs pissing on everything to mark their territory just because the guy has 70 Priest in his sig.

Now we get a radical example that is poorly executed dropped into the one small corner of the board that the vast majority of us never even wander out of. What is it you seek to gain here? A dig a Mokk? Persecution of former FF'ers gone WoW? The existence of a WoW forum on this site?

Your example is poorly thought out, and executed with the same spirit. What you've done here is the equivelant of us dropping our MazzleUI thread right in the middle of General Discussion, then telling FF'ers to suck our cocks for posting in it. Mokk's thread related to a behavior that transcends the title on the box, and exists in any MMO format you call home. There was nothing there to promote segragation, aside from the barkings of the FF loyalites who all but chased him off the FB with torches and pitchforks upon the letters WoW even entering their peripheral vision range.

Maybe next time you visit you can bring a riot squad and fire hoses to chase us uppity niggarz away.
