I need ur help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to agree that there is very little to be gained by making a new character. Chances are whatever issues you have with your current one, you will run into with your new one as well.

Perhaps it is worth to work on those, or consider whether FFXI is actually the game for you. There are a bunch of other MMOs out there, some better, some worse, all depending on what it is you are looking for.
 
I have 4 characters >>. I use them for Roleplaying purposes more than just level dummies though :P

I reccomend going the exact opposite of you're character now! (If you're taru, go Galka! If you're Elvaan, go Mithra! If you're hume... uh... just pick one ><)

i didnt want to level darkseph anymore, almost gave up on it already XD
but i thought i was so close to getting pld so i kept lvling it

amnathyr try sticking to one character first cause its rather buttannoying to start over and over and over XD
 
I have a hume paladin (Skabbo) and I made a Taru charachter (Smudge) to use as an Ore mule, but I found it irrestistable to level a mage char, having played as a tank for 63 levels now. I've had so much fun with Taru Rdm/Blm now, I dont think I'd be playing the game as much if it wasnt for my second char. But yes, if you're going to make another, go for the polar opposite of what you have already, just for diversity's sake.
 
I have three characters: Kyrial (my main, obviously), Jurinrin (female Taru WHM, lvl 5), and Kyriesslave (Mithra RDM, lvl 3). I first made Jurinrin for two purposes: as a storage mule who could sell stuff for me when I already had 7 things for sale, and because I wanted to play a cute little Taru. ^^;; I've used her a bit for roleplaying purposes, too; she's a part of Kyrie's backstory. Right now I keep her in Windurst to buy and sell stuff there while I'm away from home. Kyriesslave, on the other hand, is a pure storage/merchant mule, as can be guessed from the name. I used to have her in Sandy, because I had a little bit going where I'd buy spells from an NPC in Windy, then send them to her to sell on the Sandy AH for way more than I had paid for them. Now I keep her in Bastok to sell ore for me, as well as buy things there occasionally, such as ninja tools.

heh, i made a second character for mule and to check prices and sell stuff in Bastok, her name is Onikoneko(japanese for demonkitty)^^
Unfortunely, i couldnt resist going out and killing stuff as a Mithra Monk, was pretty fun until i got a tell saying "Hi cutie" x.x
 
Be a taru female that's always in hoodie type armor. Even if you are a girl IRL nobody assumes so 8)

Whenever I get a tell like that, I always respond like this:

Public shame is a great tool. Just witness the sucess of Weight Watchers, or the Catholic Church.
