What stops anyone around here the rest of the time?

Like i said i'm sure it's because:

A.) He's a board celebrity.
B.) He's not known *for* being an asshole even tho we all have the propensity.
C.) He kept his shit on the DL until now.

But i mean ... almost every other thread here is about 'zomg RMT/hacks/etc' and the board immediately blackballs said user, in this instance not much of that going on but .. iono, seems dirty. Not that i'm advocating trashing him based on principle but .. kinda shifty set of values, IMO, for the board/community to have.

Edit: and yes i know the board isn't really a great barometer for the server but it's still a valid point, i think.

If you are gonna look down on the people that take advantage of that stuff but still go along and pay for the game that allows it to happen.

which is kinda true, honestly almost all hackers i know say if there were no RMT...they would have no reason to hack, and most hacks would stop production say the people who code them, but they also agree that...neither would every fully happen.

Like literally i loved tinkering so much i would just wanna bust out and be like, LOOK AT tHIS SHIT, ISNT THAT COOL!? but i knew i couldnt....thats one thing about FFXI, the hacks were NOT easy to find, It was blasphemy to have any...so you couldnt show your friends how you can fly so high and go WEEEEEEE around the room....or the fact that beyond that little door in the moghouse theres a seperate room with a set of stairs to nowhere.

Well my time has come to pass and im quitting. letting my account run out at the end of the month and spilling some beans.

I said goodbye to anyone i saw online, did shouting in the usual zones and then went and visited my fave zone one last time, handed off some items that have been close to me for years to an upcoming drk and passed on the legacy.

Dont really have a list of names to give off, most people i cared alot about already got my goodbye...or quit long long ago.

i planned on staying on half a year, but i lost the shell that gave me a reason to play while i was away and SICK IRL. kinda hurt my feelings a bit to see i got kicked after logging in from some hectic times, just when i was all ready to dive in and have some fun. So, i decided to do some thinking and came to all this.

But i miss excim tons, that was my sidekick....most kind caring guy i ever met, and funny as hell. Made me famous basically. There was no chasym without an excim, that sounds gay n all but hey, he was a great friend.

now onto the juicy stuff eh.

Yep, me. I hacked alot and often, doing things most people didnt know were doable in the game. Thats more than speed hacking, pos'ing, voke botting whatever.
Not only did i hack, I helped create half the hacks you know exist and hate.
Alot of them dont exist anymore or havent been updated in a long time. But i helped code them.

A voke bot that made every mob in the room invisible except the NM when it popped, and began spamming voke 5 secs before it even popped.
Beat the gil sellers so bad they called a GM on me almost always, and as usual. GM DID NOTHING TO ME.

Thats nearly 2 GB of just hacks for FFXI, doing things such as planting abjurations in chests in oh say, giddeus, ranperres. yeah, it worked.

now why was it no one ever noticed me hacking? well i wasnt stupid when using them for one, the other reason is, i never hacked for benefit. I was always broke, barley ever camped NMs, or anything of the sort. I used to just flee and pos to get around faster, thats about it. I was more interested in the inner workings of hacks and the game itself, i love that sort of stuff. Does that make it right? most likley not.
Oh i voke botted dont get me wrong, because i need to clear an age old accusation that everyone knows but no true member would come out and say.

YES OF COURSE OUTERHEAVEN USED HACKS.
I was their supplier for gods sake. Every hack they had came from me, except that one proph paid 100 dollars for and it worked like shit. But thats besides the point. im not going to go around and name individual members that hacked, but a majority of that shell hacked after i joined. in the beginning the shell created after OH hacked some too, but eventually all that was halted and a strict rule put on hacking in the shell.
everyone in OH that got banned, was banned for hacking and nothin else. no matter what they say.
your assumptions were true, and to those who didnt know where they standed on the OH matter, theres all you need to know from a high ranked OH member and the supplier of their hacking.
Those who got caught just used them stupidly, and deserved what they got. i voke botted, only when i was with OH.
Did they hack in dynamis, probly. i wasnt there the night in question, but most convos with members after the fact were about how much hacking WAS done that night.
Man pere, you pissed alot of people in OH off with that, i remember lol. fun times.

now my favorite part is that most people who download a hack from any site, are well known. because some of those sites were owned by groups of mine, who could look at an IP and compare it to IPs on other servers forums and see who they were, this is why i was only a mod for QCDN for 2 days (betcha didnt know that huh!?) i was cross checking IP's from downloads to IP's of users to see who on our server hacked besides me, youd be surprised at some of the names who thought they were downloading and hacking anonomously, we often discussed these people on OH ventrillo server, so we knew who were were voking against and what they had.
Just remember that next time you download a hack and think no one will know, chances are you are on the radar.
But i wont name names again, its none of my business and im not puttin anyone out in the spotlight. would be fun, but not my taste.

ive been a member of ffxihacked for awhile now, even am in the seekers part of the group, a secret section of the site. Some of you are members there too! (see above how that could be known). of course im not chasym there, im comatose. Anyone who knew me could easily make the comparison of those two names.

oh and your precious windower, no matter how many times you get told over and over its not detectable by SE, it is. Tested many times. I still get told im wrong, but hey its not my account anymore.
I will say that around christmas time this year, windower will be under some HEAVY watchful eyes. Why do you ask?

But its a new windower, coming out this christmas. Every hack imagineable built in, even some new ones. Pull items out of thin air, anything you want...raise yourself as a drk/war. Whatever you want really. Sometimes i wonder if it was created to destroy FFXI, and it could. But im sure its gonna cause problems for windower users. its deadly, be prepared. Just when RMT were gettin pwnd right? talk about timing.

I bought gil once, 3 years ago. 500k! needed that vassago scythe!
thats about the only time i ever did that, i was shunned by those who knew.

Anyone remember most of those posts where people were talking about OH hacking, or someone else and i always said "Some of your closest friends in game probly hack and you dont even know", my how true this is...for everyone who plays. as im showing here, and im sure some brave players quitting in the future will follow. I remember getting so mad and just wanting to come out and post all this info, you dont know how long ive been waiting to get this off my chest!!


now i quit cold turkey with all hacks period during the first round of bannings/suspensions. As you can see, i lasted through all the ones that followed by playing mostly on 360 (which 360 and ps2 users CAN add hacks, just 95% of them wouldnt know where to begin or be able to do it without frying their systems)
how long did i hack really, well aside from creating fast fingers, i didnt hack for about a year after that, then i discovered argus and such. id say 2 of my 4 years consisted of hacking all together.
im not proud nor ashamed, i had fun with it. im an addict of technology and innerworkings, and it was always a race for me to find the next cool toy. id do it again if i could.
i loved reading the OH flames and watching them dance to see if they could talk their way out of it.

Love me or hate me, im sure alot of you might feel betrayed in my revealing of this and i dont blame you. And no offence, its just a game...so i kinda dont care. Its sad to see so many of you people put so much stock into this game as if it were your real life...its scary sometimes. i admit i let this game take over too much sometimes too, and i lost time i can never get back. but im making up for it now.
Im still the same old chasym, with a revealing background. but ill still be around here. Ill still have chasym.org with some farewell surprises in store.
But hey, its time i came clean and spilled the beans.
Leave no loose ends in my FFXI goodbye.
