kirin, when silver and (was it hiho or quit) got nabbed to gm jail at the same time.

I remember the night but your memory seems to be failing. For 1 you can't even remember if it was hihoshi or quitita who was jailed. To remind you, it was Hihoshi, and Quitita was never jailed during OH.(I don't know what went on in the new shell). It's possible I was Paladin that night(don't really member), but I find it hard to believe they'd have me Paladin when Prophecy and Darienn were on.(grays too maybe, but can't remember if he was too)

It's possible that Prophecy told me to kite, although that doesn't mean he meant for me to flee hack. He knew I didn't hack though so not so sure what would be going through his head. Not that him telling me to would mean I did.

Lmao I seem to remember you denying OH hacks or it was only a select few, seems you were pretty knowledgeable after all about everyone who did it. And seriously get the hell out of this thread ya hacker. I don't care if it was Prophecy or not, your character hacked. You fail.

Yeah, because when I'm asleep I can see what Proph/Kireek is doing *rollseyes*

Yes, I am knowledgable. I've said many times a select few hacks. I also do believe I never mentioned any names. Glade was one of the people I knew hacked.

OMFG QFT. So sick of the hypocrites on this damn forum. Ya hear this Hellstorm? Hows the hacking in Antares going? Good?

I don't think I ever complained about people hacking. I've said I personally don't care since I was in a shell that hacked.

ROFL. What a bunch of morons you people are then that you wouldn't stop hacking for an hour to get someone else banned. But I still highly doubt he was because you think the rest of the people in BD would let him get away with it? They would GM him, and the only time you can be talking about was the time Purpose wiped to KB at 1% that OH stole. Now, that was almost an hour, you really think not ONE legit person would of GMd him in the course of an hour? I smell a lot of BS here. Just post shit you got proof of, hacking along somebody else in laggy BD with all of your hacking friends really is a terrible example. And many more people would of mentioned it months ago.

<_< Is that the KB he was talking about? Jam was on WAR at the time, not PLD, and fun fact: when we wiped, the meteor that nailed us was on Jamal. If he was fleeing, you'd think he woulda gotten away.

I remember you going to sea as NIN once. You kited Ix'DRK as NIN that time. No flee hacks used.

And yes, I think Chasym got Hihoshi and Quitita confused.

On a side-note, who got smacked w/ pretty decent evidence so far?
Cyronae, Quitita, Grayswander, Tagrineth?

Yep i am a cheater, Its just a game tho so i dont care.
You are one of those who treat this game like your life i referred to earlier, its so important to you that it overtakes you and burns you so bad to see someone cheat in your world.
oh fuckin well, go outside or something.
im not manipulating anyone in this post.
Well here's the thing, "it's just a game" doesn't cut it. If you want to sit and cheat when you play offline games on your own computer, fine. The problems start when you cheat on online games. Why? Because you're now involving other people, not just yourself.

The problem here is that the internet has no police. It's a free zone, where you can do pretty much anything. And asshats like you take that as a call to go ahead and break any rule they can find, because LOL IT'S JUST INTARNET IT'S NOT REAL LOL LOL!!!1111

You may not go to jail for it, you might not get caught, but you're still no better than the people all over the world currently in jail because of crimes they've committed.

People spend money to play FFXI. When you cheat while playing FFXI you impinge on their rights as a paying customer. By all rights someone should sue your ass, but that is too far-fetched I'm afraid. I'm sure it would've made you think twice about cheating though. (And no, just because you paid to play FFXI as well doesn't mean you are allowed to cheat.)

I could be wrong then, Purpose/Element has claimed very few KB's is all I know. And that was the only time I think besides last week?

oh cool. a participant since uzor couldnt reply himself. :)

no, it DOES work. you are thinking about it too hard.

here ill help.

LINKSHELL= A GROUP OF PEOPLE
FAMILY= A GROUP OF PEOPLE

ROBBING A BANK = AN ACTION PERFORMED
HACKING = AN ACTION PERFORMED

JAIL = PUNISHMENT
BANNED/RIDICULED FOR DOING IT/BAD REPUTATION = PUNISHMENT

yeah, you are saying people hold the game on a different level than RL, sure. but at *any scale*, the comparison of actions (group of people > action > punishment) -- its simple cause/effect.

CAUSE> people tell you to flee hack and you do it
EFFECT> punishment or ridicule for it.

I know you understand it, but a person by nature can be forced into something minor while they won't do anything major (that line is different for everyone and can be moved in either direction sporadically). No one considers cheating a major threat to their livelihood, but they would a bank robbery. A game is just an escape. It has no lasting effect once the game is turned of and it will be turned off. For some there is no loss, they either quit now or later, but at least they were able to accomplish what they wanted or at least they think they will if they cheat. No one is going to yell at you (save those crazy people who take the game WAY too seriously) over cheating once you are gone, what's done is done. It's like that commercial, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" and it works wonderfully here, but you most certainly cannot say the same about committing a felony.

Now while you say someone who cheats will get a bad reputation and be ridiculed, I argue differently. A bet a majority of those who do cheat, are not known by the populace. I also bet, if someone is temp-banned, most wouldn't notice and a lot would pass it off as something else. Even more would forget it even if they had doubts given a little time. But here is the kicker, once someone is banned, their reputation is a clean slate. It doesn't follow anyone, it doesn't stick, they can either move on or come back as a new character with a clean slate.

Let's go back to the punishment for being banned while cheating. If someone cheats, they get banned and for some, the worst part is they will no longer be able to play with their friends. Now, the thing with peer pressure is, it makes you think and do things you normally wouldn't. Now, if I apply a little pressure, I can get people to think by not doing it (especially on an easy target, no offense to Darienn) they will be outed by the group as a whole which in effect is as bad as being banned.

Yeah, that's the only time something similar has happened, so I guess he's talking about it. Assuming he meant while Jamal was in purposelement. Sinhard was our only PLD that day.

We've had 2 since going element now, though, one he was d/c'd thru most of, and one that happened just yesterday.

You mean last week aka "The night of a 1000 meteors?" :D

Perfect description. Our main kiter (Jamal) d/c, and he had to be kited by a PLD with no W Legs and no KB experience. It wasn't pretty. D:

well when he says fire is kiting with flee tool, and you look to be doing just that obviously. but your gonna say you did , ill be told you didnt and thats cool. Im not gonna try to make you admit anything or make anyone believe it. just sayin what was known to me.

I could be wrong, but I think he's referring to something that happened back when Jamal was in Kaizen. But yeah, Purpose claimed I think 2 King Behemoths while I was in it. One was stolen (by OH even, I remember that night cause I blacklisted a few qcdn regulars like Kateverlasting!) and one was a wipe. I believe Jamal was war/nin on both of the Purpose ones but not 100% sure on that one. EDIT: Didn't post right cause my internet fails.

They have programs to refresh pages for you, if you use FireFox. No more F5, it'll do all the work for you.
