While yes, bank robbery is wrong, and you can't justify it as "good". But the seirousness of the crime s just so much worse that it breaks his whole analogy. If he wanted to make an analogy that actually ment something, he's use something like speeding, or taking steroids.

We say parse was a cheat = to that of cheating on a test, they bring up things like vent and msn. Then there was the uli stones we said it wrong to buy from bazaar in BD because there 99.9% chance you buying from rmt, the compare it to sushi (which BTW is not right by long shot because it the rice and giant squid they supply not the sushi, and even then how many others also farm the mats to sell) They also compare it to O kotes a item that has been resold over and over so many times that even if you tried to keep track you would not be able to. Then there was the b hides which you can get from so many sources and none of them can be monopolized by rmt. Then there this post where he compared hacks to bank robbery. The only thing that can be considered bank robbery is someone stealing someone else account. Hacks are more like drugs. SE (DEA) is not cracking down enough on drugs(Hacks) so they are being trafficked will little worry of being caught. SE still till this day fail to even come close to stopping hacks/rmt. Till they do the problem will only get worse.

most programs you cant modify or "Steal" unless the programmer gives you their source code. like the argus source code that was made readily available.
i never said i have cheated in halo 2, i said obtaining IP adresses is the same in ffxi as halo 2. please again, re-read. An Ip address cannot do anything to let me hack the game, if an ip adress did anything you would need 2 hackers to use it.

I'm so glad I quit this game months ago. People take this game way to serioulsy. One thing I've learned is people are going to do what they want to do. Play the game right, cheat, do a little of both whatever.

As for chasym, I never personly knew him, seen him around, saw a couple of videos and whatnot, so I can't comment on what I know he did or didn't do. As for the hacks, he's said numerous times he didn't create the hacks he supplied to OH. Some guy in japan came up with the original coding, chasym just supplied to his LS. Does this make it ok? No, but do you really think if chasym hadn't supplied them, someone else wouldn't? For every hacker you see or know off, there's a hundered more you don't.

Hacking reminds me of the old cop and robber bit. Cops come up with some new way to catch crooks, crooks come up with some way to get out. By that I mean, as long as there is stuff to hack, people are gonna find a way to do it. Doesn't make it right, just the way it is.

I have to say though, you don't much see hackers(the real ones anyway) ever come out and say "yeah I hacked so-and-so", or show their hacks that they use. So in that reguard I have to give chasym some credit for breaking that mold lol.

People are going to have their own opinion about this whole thing, they think your a pos, you rock, your a cheater, gtfo etc. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one but no one thinks theirs stinks.

I for one don't like cheating, not my thing, but I'm not going to preach to someone they shouldn't do it. Most likely they know that already so I'd just be wasting my breath.
