chasym did answer you before though how it's most likely a hacker has benefitted you or most players in the game at some point. Even I've said it. You REFUSE to believe that anyone you've ever done anything with has hacked or is a hacker.. at least that's what it seems. That's just plain naivity. It's stupid to believe that, at some point, you haven't done an event with a hacker. My intent, my audience, isn't to talk directly to the cheaters and to convert them, but rather use them as a point to speak on...And to not let the bullshit they say stand.

Sorry, but you sound a little defensive like I've been calling YOU something other than a real player because you hacked or at least experimented with one. Elemmire, I'm not that strict and I doubt SE is either. If you were curious (like one of those politicians who tried drugs in college once) I'm not hating on you. Sounds like you just "experimented" and it wasn't really used in your gameplay. However, the moment it becomes an unfair advantage (even if you're just farming with it or constantly using it for transportation cuz your lazy). To me it is cheating. Cheating, to me, is artificially making up for your lazyniess or lack of skill or determination. Don't compare yourself to someone who used bots and supplied hacks. It's clearly not the same.

Real players have a valid right to complain. I'm not Martin Luther King. I don't have to be quiet about what's going on. And it's not about controlling people. If you want to play, play. It's different sense.. most criminals in life are crimes where there's really a victim.. (unless it's a "victimless crime" like prostitution and gambling or even drugs technically since they chose to use the drugs) where as, in a game, who's the victim? How are you the victim exactly? A hacker is most likely not directly effecting you (especially if they hack to the point of creating items outta nothing for themselves). It might be a nuissance to you during HNMs, but, guess what? THERE ARE BCNMs WHERE YOU CAN FIGHT THOSE VERY SAME MONSTERS (well not entirely the same but close enough where it's just as fun, usually less HP cause of the time limit). You say you don't care about the items? Then go do those for the challenge and fun, you could prolly get enough LSmates around to do it. When I actually played a lot I tried to get KS99 going a lot, I loved the challenge, didn't give a shit about the items. I wanted to do King Behemoth, Fafhogg, Aspid, Tiamat, Jorm, Vrtra, etc all for the challenge and if I was still playing Cerberus and Hydra too.. I don't care if they dropped only a pebble, I'd still have fun fighting them for hte challenge, eventually I might get bored but that's gonna happen with HNMs anyway.. a lot with HNMs tend to get bored of the actual fight and just keep doing them for the items, which seems really boring :|

You may like poking at what other people say but right now you're only displaying your lack of understanding when it comes to game design. This is an online game. SE has to keep working on it. Part of what they do is correct "BALANCING issues". Games that are not balanced are unfair and that takes away from the enjoyment. This is not the same as say... exploiting the programmed advantages of a certain job. We are talking about issues that negatively effect the population. There isn't an empy pin for every player on the server. If there was do you know how much the value would be? Could you sell it? No. What if no one ever bought your stuff cuz they could just make it themselves? I can go on and on but the point is that the server is affected by cheaters and RMT. It's not my fault if you can't see it. People who just buy gil probably wouldn't care too much either.

as much as I hate RMT, a lot of them do play the game for fun reasons as well as money :| (at least from what I can tell from those little movie things and "interview with an RMT" crap they have fun). There are former RMT that still play for fun as well. According to what's her name (I really am bad at names..) the elvaan girl that is friends with some ex-RMT and whatnot.

I'm not really defending him as much as I like poking at what people say. I agree, hacking sucks, it pissed me off a lot in the game. I was in endgame for a long time and saw many hackers (obvious and suspected) and it annoyed the hell outta me. I don't think chasym's the worst fucking person in the world like all of you suddenly believe though. Sure he cheated but I some how doubt you're perfect too.. I'm sure you've done something that's immoral. We all have. Continuously doing immoral things knowing its immoral is wrong too which is something that annoys me about chasym but the rest of the stuff around here has amused me so I'd rather focus on that than the 1 bad thing that never actually effected me.

You played end-game but you weren't affected?? How is that even possible? If you weren't affected you were either on the side of hackers or not competing against them. And even then I guarantee you it effected you in ways you didn't even know about. These actions have rippling effects. I don't know anyone who wasn't hit with inflation. And guess what... a lot of it comes from cheaters who bot claims and sell them for the biggest profit possible.

I already said I tried out windower, though it didn't give me any unfair advantage. But other than that everything I got, including items people gave me, were a result of how I played the game. I played fair. I ran my own linkshell. I organized events. I made friends. We had fun. And no one had to cheat to do it. We even got claims against RMTs and that made victory even sweeter. And in RL I did things I wasn't proud of AS A KID. If Chasym was 12yrs old and sorry I could understand. However, he plans to continue outside the game. That, I do NOT understand. He doesn't care. Good or bad, not really the issue here. I just want cheaters to know that they aren't just having fun, they're having fun at someone else's expense. If this keeps up a lot more items will be rare/ex.

And if you're not defending him then you really suck at "not defending" because in my opinion you are both making it sound like its okay for people to hack because they can't be controlled (although banned by SE if reported). Otherwise, why not pick some other posts to try to poke at? Why poke at the anti-hacking/cheating posts if you are against it yourself. That's sounds hypocritical to me. You were pissed off by it but no one else is allowed to be pissed off enough to speak on it? Get out of here with that. The point made is knowing someone hacks or not there's not much of a degree of seperation. This does not make the action of the hacker infinately evil unless hacking/cheating is involved in the information/things you gain from said hacker. It's a hollow defense, grats for pointing it out, why the crusade is all i'm asking... he's full of shit, yippee! any clod can pick that up after this long. Truth be told i'm simply tired of seeing the thread on my new posts lists. It's been done, here and elsewhere, on the boards for quite some time now. Granted i could simply not read it and move on about my day but the sheer curiousity that some of you are still going in circles about chasym of all people is nothing short of noteworthy.

I didn't start the sidetracking. However, you me and others perpetuated it. Shame on us I guess. All that shit is besides the point(s) seen in the actual discussion. I fired back because it's sickening to see people not able to find the discussion after 100+ pages. It's sickening that after 100+ pages people say shit like, "I'm just bitching because you're bitching." At least I'm responding to shit like that.
