I really need some help here.

Alright folks, I'm 0/3 on what is supposedly an *easy* BC. I'm trying to do ZM17, and I've lost at least 10k exp doing it.

I've gone in with awesome players, and we've planned things out to a T. The problem is, the damned AOEs get us no matter what we do. The last time, when we actually *got* to the 2nd phase, I was already dead, and couldn't get unweakened and rested in the short rest time the mob allowed.

How do you win this fight (with a PLD tank)?

Thanks. Unfortunately, that's not a viable option for us as we don't all have NIN levelled (mine's only 30). I've got a strat now, though. Basically, our NIN is going to take a poison potion, drag the kid off to the side and solo the first from out of AOE range of the rest of us. WHM will go with him and keep him erased and hasted. Myself and MNK will grab orbitals as they pop. Once the final AOE goes off, we all move in and finish off the first form.

When the second form pops, NIN will kite him for as long as he can (warp and terror aren't very condusive to this) while everyone else gets as much rest as they can. Mijin Gakure when the NIN's about to go down, then I voke, pop Invincible, and MNK 2hrs. In the last few seconds of Invincible, we're going to do Chainspell and Manafont - hopefully that'll finish him off. Save Benediction in case the 2hrs don't do the job.
