I will be the first to say I was not 100% innocent in the thread that I had posted (for those lucky enough to see it before it was deleted.) Was it making fun of Davion? No. Was it making a slight mockery of other GT posts that many would deem only an easy accomplishment? Yeah. But that was the joke. There's the parrying picture and right there in the spoiler there was the real motivation behind the thread.

Some people got the joke, some didn't, which was expected. But I mean, jesus fucking christ, not only Davion, the guy who everyone thinks should be the FIRST person offended since he was the latest victim of a GT crap, but also HELLSTORM posted a Congrats to me. If that doesn't say Good Times, then what the fuck does? I guess maybe next time I should post <3's, smileys and stuff about making out with other men just so everyone knows ITS ALL IN GOOD FUN!

Its no secret I'm good buds with Jamal and you little pissants like Rannoch can say all you want about how I must be on his dick. Especially when half the people you're all buddy-buddy with can't even take his dick out of your mouth long enough to even give someone else a taste. Kelyon, how much you miss him now that he can't post against his own will? You people have it pretty twisted. I'm not on Jamal's dick, anything but that lol. Some of my more brutal arguments I've ever had with ANYONE in game were with that guy. When he's wrong, I tell him when he's wrong and its no thing for either side. I'm not one of you (and you know who "you" are) who just blindly follow him just because he's bold and abrasive.

But poor Willian. Dedicates his life to dynamis and delevels to 74 while he has a Chapeau. The guy gets 75 in a not-so-gimp PLD DRG THF RDM BLM WHM party that makes almost 8k/hr in Lufaise and his shit got deleted for a short amount of time.

Everyone's trying to convince me its a case of profiling, but I'd hate to believe that. People say "Hey, you're friends with Jamal, thats why your thread was deleted." I'd hate to believe it but it doesn't seem unlikely. Did I have some kind of hidden agenda in my GT thread? No. I made a simple attempt at humor. What did Willian do? The same thing and it worked because people posted "Wait, weren't you already 75?" But you know what.. I guess hitting level 60, getting sea, hitting 75 for your first time, or if you're quitting the game? Those are really good times. Especially compared to re-equipping your Duelist Chapeau or getting your N. Hands AND B. Haidate off one pop set.

Don't think it matters whether someone joke posts there or not. People who want to post what they feel like are accomplishments or, believe it or not, good times, are going to continue to post there and the world will continue to spin, regardless of who likes it and who doesn't. Just seems like people went defcon 2 over this; the whole thread locking and deleting and whatnot wasn't really necessary.
 
The irony here is that if the mods are going to take it upon themselves to decide what is "Good Times"-worthy and what isn't, they've essentially begun doing precisely what they're yelling at Jamal for: Deciding what belongs in Good Times and what doesn't.

That having been said, yes, there are some ridiculously stupid topics in Good Times of late. That doesn't really mean you should crap all over them. Good Times is purely subjective, after all. Yeah, I didn't feel the need to Good Times dinging 60 on COR, or hitting 5/5 Valor (or Abyss), or much else. In fact, I have started 3 threads on that board ever: Once for grabbing Leech King out from under Vang's nose (which was freakin' awesome), once for dinging 75 at the end of a 14 hour game day (14 hours of near non-stop playing, my head hurt), and obviously recently once for when I left the server. That last one wasn't really "Good Times" for me, but that seems to be the appropriate place for such posts so that's where I put it.

I was going to post in your GT Thread aud saying grats, but then POOOF it was gone. I didn't see it as offensive, or having no content, but the mods are there for a reason and i respect their reasoning. Imho Audino had every right to post it, but like i said Mods have every right to do what they do as well...

Just to point out this game is 5 years old almost everything except AV has been done so you are going have repeat threads. It a good time thread suppose to have little bet of nonsense in there. audino we may not see eye to eye on a lot of things, but for the record from the point that I posted I did not see anything wrong with that thread. I'm surprise they deleted the thread instead of weeding the bad post out if there was any.
