totally true! he was kinda angry i called for him...

why i called for him? well my linkshell wouldn't break using the /breaklinkshell command and i wanted to use the name again after having restarted my chara so i asked him...he got quite pissy lol
 
i checked him once or twice too XD....i was in awe to be honest...and he had some strange aura

Hmm no chat log so we just have your word he was 'pissy' also to break a Linkshell do you not have to de-equip it first? I note you still have one on in the screenshots.
 
Stupidest questions I've asked GMs (sometimes on purpose) I've never had one get short with me.
That one was probably having a bad day or something.

he said i didn't have to, so did this other member when i asked in a /sh. i don't know how to take screenshots of the chat log so therefore i can't...he was just a bit rude, and GM's hardly show themselves...
 
Actually, lately they've been showing themselves everywhere. Not rare to see a GM anymore.

One was chillen in batallia about a week ago @ the afk marketplace.

On the topic of GM's does FFXI have jail? for like annoying other members and stuff you get put in jail for one hour or something?

One way to find out, call up that last one and ask some more questions. Actually ask the GM about gaol he may even give you a free tour. :)

OP: If you really want to see a GM in a bad mood, tell him he is an idiot. They don't seem to like that very much... :wacko:

lol yeah thats a quick way to get on the bad side. i've never had one seem mad yet though :(
 
i don't wanna irritate anyone lol...but maybe he could give me a tour like jeska mentions XD
