in total seriousness to. im a security guard for a living and a park outside my building is part of our responcibilities too.
today i got a call from a guy in our volunteer dept. about someone having breathing problems. turns out on of the park regulers (homeless or seeminly-homeless individuals that are always in the park) with a history of asthma and other respitory problems was having major breathing difficulty. i quickly put in a call for an EMT unit to help him. that was the longest 8 minutes i've ever waited. Will (the guys name) was starting to become panicy and fainted on me at least 4 times. i have no formal emt traiing myself but i barely manaced to keep him calm till the unit arived.
they had similer results that i did with him in reguard to responciveness but at least he was on O2 and they got him to the hospitle. i,ll have to check with his friends in the part as to how he turned out but i wanted to share this story with u all.
