Don't know what your policy is on QCNN, don't really care. Those links you posted are irrelevent because unless the people being "flamed" are banned, it's not the same thing. Windaria is banned from here, yet she cannot reply. The people being flamed there I can only assume are not banned, and can view/reply to their flame. I don't see any similarites.

Go back and reread Mokk's post, dumbass. It's quite clear as it was quite clear 3 pages ago as it was quite clear when i spoke to reeve regarding this account being activated. I'm not out to help anyone's case as there's no case to be made here. You're a dick and even if Mokk had been compeltely unheard of to whoever was using this account it doesn't change the fact that you opened the door for a pile of dramatic bullshit based on not having any rebuttal to the OP or my response to it. It's been explained about how Mokk handles things when he happens to be on the keyboard, i'm not wasting my time going over this again with you. It'll be handled over your head much as the account activation was. You moved for a new user to be put on public identity trail whereas it had already been discussed with your staff that such things were not neccessary as i voluntarily offered that Mokk would be using the account to the administration.

I took it up with reeve before the account had been registered. My problem is that anyone's open to this type of treatment as opposed to a PM seeing as how there's apparently no communication regarding user accounts between staff and that is bullshit. I would've been more than happy to inform you as to the situation had you asked instead of being a dick simply because your in a position of power to do so. In short, you were out of line and any moderator with even the most infintesmally small ammount of grace or tact would have checked their facts either with other staff or the user in question before harrassing a user in a thread for no reason without any kind of provocation or rule infraction.

You were under attack and needed a nice little deflection so you could do what you just bitched about. Make a thread completely useless. I can dig the tactic, it just doesn't make it any less dirty.

Sure, i just wanted to put a little perspective on things for those who would say that she doesn't harbour the same or do the same as rufus.. As i said it's laughable so many people are compelled to give a shit on both sides of it. I personally have no vested interest in trashing the chick as i don't really know her or most of you for that matter any better than what i hear from Mokk from time to time.

The problem isn't her, it's you. There are a dozen or so mods, a majority of them know enough to keep a low profile when they are moderating and assert it in a partial way, but several feel they need to clean things to THEIR liking and assert their authority when they disagree. You disagree, you edit or lock. I called you out in a previous thread as the shitty mod you are and what did you do? You trolled, PC+1 the entire thread and locked it AFTER you said you wouldn't shit on it. I guess your word is that worthless. Seriously, get over the power trip, do what you're expected to do and nothing more. Don't jump into the thread and suggest you're going to lock it. Leave them be unless they clearly violate the rules, are from a bot or some troll wanting to spam the board. That was the only reason mods were ever given the authority to moderate the flameboard and you should have enough common sense to know that's all you should moderate.

I know Reeve isn't exactly around much nor does he know all the past history, but you do. Take into account that has been the way the board functioned in the past for years without problems and when the problems arose, the solution wasn't gestapo like moderation, it was minor fixes. Stop the editing, stop the locking and leave shit be. People asked for the OLD flameboard back, not some half wit edited, watered down BS you call flaming.

And for the love of fucking god, remove the damn edit function. Only fucking pussies need an edit funtion on the flameboard.

Ok to defend myself (and to seemingly put this thread back on topic) ill say my little bit. Now there were 10 pages when I noticed this thread, so im not going to quote this and quote that.

First of all, I must stress a point which Zer seems to keep overlooking in my posts.

I DO NOT HATE NOR DISLIKE WINDARIA.
I found the whole situation laughable after a while.

Whenever she came to QCDN (second time I think?) she went on her little crusade, and I replied in a very civil manner. Look it up if you dont know which one Im talking about.

I was stuck at the library for 4+ hours. I was extremely bored. There is only so much crap the internet can do for you on a public comp.

I started to touch up a new "You are..." picture for Rufus. The one I was using was beginning to get old and to suck. I was skimming FFXI images when I found a white haired mithra. (Wrong model as I have been numerously told, but w/e.)

Since I was already working on a "You are..." picture, and the fact that Peregrine's post just seemed like as much of a waste of space, I figured I would try out making a "You are..." picture of someone from the site.

The mithra picture was on hand. I dont know what Peregrine's character model is. Obviously I was wrong about Windy's too, but it was pretty much all I had to go with.

Now stay with me here:

I did not bear any malicious intent with the post towards Windy. I was bored as hell and I figured that it was funny and that other people would get a laugh out of it.

Some did, some didnt. People are entitled to their opinions about humor and whatnot.

If what you people want is a public apology, then fine:

It was just meant as a joke. Why the flameboard? Well if you read my last post before the lock, you can see why. It simply doesnt fit anywhere else. POSSIBLY the off-topic board. But otherwise nowhere.

To the OP of this thread, I agree that there was no reason to lock it. It turned into a flame and thus worked with the board.

To everyone else: PLEASE lighten up. It was meant as a joke and you are being way to serious about it. I would have used anyone's pic if I had one. In fact, I was planning on using Skaw or Khidir, but just didnt have the available images.

As to Windy not being here to defend herself: It really had nothing to do with her. Everyone knows she was annoying and loud. Its undeniable. The whole situation was merely for a simple laugh.
