And thats what they ended up doing. From now on, pop JoL only during NA times so at least each end-game shell has a decent amount of members online. I'm sure if that happened, a strategy could have been devised between each of the shells to attempt to kill (or slightly maim) it instead of the "stall forever" tactic that I witnessed yesterday.
 
yeah its not our choice if it pops or not, we at least gave it a shot but too many people pussied out and kept leavin instead of giving it a shot. everyone got scared. At least we tried to make the attempt. The first NA on our server to at least try.
Just seeing it was cool enough for me tho. dying by it was nice too.

Popping it at about 11 EST was not a good move in my opinion. :D

I'm probably beating a dead horse here but has a definative strategy been worked out for this guy yet? On BG, nothing really seemed to be really conclusive. Has anyone given this some thought?
 
yes, I have taken the time and made a strategy, If the shell im in decides to go for it and it works yaaaaa /clap but if not, it was a good 2hrs trying to think of one. Only the future will tell.
 
Running theory is kill wynavs a certain number of times and get it to 95%. But SE said something about killing JoL's pops a certain way on a certain day with certain spells.

Oh thats cute^^ I like how everyone takes evertything on this game as a insult. We are simply relishing in the fact that It poped like it or lump it but keep your negative comments to yourself please.
 
I think this is the only thing I regret missing in the game. I always wanted to see AV in game.
 
it was fun even if we didnt make a decent attept at it. Getting killed by a Astral flow lightning charge, and a manafont comet, and a wyvern mijin gakure. Ninja wyvern something I never thought I whould see.(here i though the bard wyvern was neat.) Though romor is that a jp has killed it before. Though im not sure if that true or not. It was fun just to see it exp means nothing mine is capped anyway. Point it has poped and it was fun. when It pop next time. Will be ready to take it down. I bet if it was kaz or jda that poped you say yay congrats, but since it antares you disagree?

yeah but we worked for that chance, anyone can do that too. we just put the effort. we can be proud of our efforts in the end just like anyone in any other aspect of the game...

Yes, but when you have quotes like "At least we tried to make the attempt. The first NA on our server to at least try", you are going to have to expect people to get angry. I know Kaizen killed JoL multiple times before this incident so it's not like people aren't TRYING. It's a completely random thing. So if you wants grats for being the first one to actually luck out and have it happen then that's one thing. But trying to say no one else has attempted it before you is just laughable at best.

Anyway, probably enough negativity in a Good Times topic so back to what I said the first post: If you're happy then more power to you. I'll just pass on the AV thing until I find a group that can take it down.
 
Yea I was one of the people who bailed after a short time. It was 2 am and I gotta work. Took a couple SS before I logged.

In this one I just got back from d/c to see JoL die, and AV pop.

I think they're pretty good looking shots. I don't think this should be looked at like a "we're cooler than you" scenario, but more as a "it does exist" type thing. JoL is a fun fight, and probably AV also when we figure him out. Just nice to see someone getting that far on the NA side of things.
 
I'll tell you one thing...

You do know AV randomly pops off JoL right? Randomly? As in you can't exactly force it to pop? Yeah.
