So I'm in Bastok Yesterday, screwing around, leveling up my DRG and whatnot, when all of a sudden...



Who the fuck does this? And who the fuck accepts this kind of shit for gil. From the first sentence i knew what it was, but regretfully accepted the party invite, hoping they wanted help with something (i.e. mission/quest/info). I lauged for 20 minutes after this happened because it was so ridiculous...anyone else approached by Myrie lately?

Velioo, your avatar is hillarious! i busted out lauging in the middle of my intro to java class.

And...does anyone still have that picture of all the different owls with all the sayings like "O RLY" and "Buttsecks?". Someone had one as their avatar but i cant find that person, or the picture to save my life. If you find it ill reccomend you to Myrie to "Love you long time"
 
I had something similar happen from someone called "Maaria" a couple months back or so. I just /blisted and called a GM. GM said he'd "investigate", we all know how that goes....

I was logged in as my mule Cheveyo in Bastok the other week.. I had originally made this character a male elvaan for my brothers to play when they came over, and so I use him as mule when they aren't around.

I'm heading to the AH when I get that exact same /tell. "Hiya ^^"

So thinking they might ask a question about the game or something, I said "hello" back.

Then the next thing they say "Hey sexy ;)"

I then said something like "you're attracted to my 3d character model? o_O" to which she responded "yes".

Next /tell I get is "Elvaan Rod Can I have it?". Fun excitement ^^

To which I told her that I was a female player, on my mule and that she should seek her fun and excitement elsewhere, probably in RL would be better too.

all I can say is this is the reason I wish there was an emote for /puke
 
Well in the person's defense, Galka's are the sessy^^. BUT, that is carrying it a tad extreme. Danggggg!!!
 
I like galkas too :D they are cool but nowhere near that form of like O.o

This sort of thing happened all the time for the few months that I played The Sims Online prior to the FFXI release. The people would basically whore themselves out for cybersex and/or webcam shows in exchange for in-game currency and visitation propery bonuses. Several months after I quit I read an article in the UK edition of PC Gamer magazine in which the British government was taking steps to either shut down the game in the UK or find ways to prosecute the people playing the accounts. Apparently the problem was much more rampant among the British players and apparently the majority of the girls doing the propositioning were underage....usually around 12-14. It's been almost two years since I read the article, but I think they referred to the people as "grannies" if memory serves me correctly.
