At level 75, elvans have 75 str whereas tarus only have 64 :|



Btw, does anyone know if I reactivated an account now, would I have to pay 14bucks for the remainder of this month...?

But there's a tradeoff! Our DEX offsets our low STR; I rarely miss, and I have very minimal +ACC gear. I can pile on the STR, and sit pretty.

That means this:

I don't kill myself by pulling hate, because I don't pull hate
I can gather TP faster than Elvaans because (haha, I don't miss as much!)
I can still spike with the best of 'em.


Being a tarutaru Dark Knight is loads of fun, and I think I've only died a handful of times through SE+WS. I'd recommend it to anyone, just as long as you don't steal my thunder.




Oh, and you can wear your RSE for a long time to give a great STR bonus :-)

Really the only race that seems to have substantial amount of extra dex are mithras..and I'm not really in a mood to be a furball >.>
 
I never looked at the Galka stats; their DEX=Taru DEX and they have more STR.


However!! I forgot to mention this useful tidbit (and I can't believe, as it's more important for Tarutaru than anyone else). Our INT being through the roof makes us much more useful in a debuff role than any other race. I spam the Absorb-spells (only exception being on Colibri, but those are no problem either way, and I slaughter them), and as such, I keep Dark Magic capped, and I can offset any of my lesser attributes with the attributes gained from Absorbs.

My normal order:

Absorb-DEX for accuracy and critical+
Absorb-AGI to debuff their evasion, thereby increasing my accuracy more
Absorb-STR just because
Absorb-VIT if I feel their defense is too high
Absorb-TP directly following Guillotine (most times I can regain enough TP to WS again)

Optional: Absorb-MND for Guillotine against Mage-type mobs, to increase the Silence effect.


I always toss in Stuns, Drains, and Aspirs when necessary.

Man...I dunno what race to be...

Taru seems better earlier on and are super cute. Elvaan/hume seem better endgame. Not even considering garka or manthra ;x

Good thing I have a week to decide since I dont wanna pay full charge to play this week lol
 
Elvaan drks are the best. Mithra drks are gimp at best, and don't even get me started on hume or taru drks. The only thing galka drks are good is that they have more HP so they have a slightly better souleater.

So it's probably bad for me to say that Rappa is one of the top 3 DRKs I know then?
