IE sucks!

server maintance, so I decide to make an avatar and here is what I come up with

problem? IE sucks at png support so the first one will probably have a wierd border or picutres of dying tarus or something wrong with it, and the second one works on IE but is all choppy and stuff =/ .

I say you all switch to Firefox!

Already got Firefox bud. Why didnt you switch sooner. J00 sUx.
 
Well, It isn't the browser thats causing the choppiness, it's either A) your graphics card sucks or B) you didn't use the lasso tool correctly and/or set a few other settings correct on your image.
 
IE sux, no disagreement there, but as a modest webprogrammer, I can say that so does PNG. Those file sizes are HUGE. :lol:
 
I use firefox at work also. On a side note i brought my PS2 to work so im updating my version as i type this. I don't have to wait for the frenzy of around 6pm estern time, when every one gets home and trys to update at the same time.

I do, but people will see the thingy with IE browsers more than firefox since people do use IE alot more.

As for coppyness, I know like nothing about images =P all I know is png worked and gif doesn't when I did "save as"
 
Ive been using the Fox since like .8 beta :P
 
I think I used it at like .7, firebird 8)

oh, and on my last post coppyness = choppyness, can't edit posts here >.<

also the fie type that you save it as, the quality that you save it at will case the choppiness also

And since phpbb didn't let me set avatar as .php extension, I set my server to parse .jpg files as .php on one folder 8)
 
Nice nice, for the count bro, you avatar looked fine before you changed it. (This was during when your first post was the only one here.)
 
I am a hater of all things microsoft, so I was excited when I heard about firefox.
Problem is, I can't seem to tab between form fields, and have to use the mouse to switch fields. I find this highly annoying.
Also I frequently get "connection refused...." messages while browsing
that nearly bring me to violent acts against my monitor. This never happened with IE. If anyone knows how to fix these problems please tell me.
Otherwise, for the sake of my sanity, I will be forced to switch back.
 
Hmmm, I must check this Firefox thingy out :idea: .
 
Let me break down the browsers:

Firefox/Mozilla is for people who are wannabe rebels who don't want to "conform to the norm" all because the name Micro$oft is associated with IE.

Safari is known to Mac users...Safari is very secure but still sucks...this is the one of the few flaws in the Macintosh world.

Netscape is implemented by the government...that is why you see it at schools constantly.

The rest is all crap.
