Well after watching Office Space for the 100th times since Xmas, I started to think about the question "What would I do if i had a Million dollars?"

For me personally I would give 500k to the Cystic Fibrosis foundation and then invest the other 500k in an Anime, sport card, magic card, and other nerdy card games store.

What would you people do if you had a Million dollars?

Edit: I would also buy myself a 3000 dollar computer so then i i can have a good computer instead of my peice of sh*t one. lol

2006 living in USA

$1,000,000 is nothing anymore >.>

a decent house with 2 story house + some good yard size is around $600k+ where I lived lol
Man... Once I think about FFXI inflation remind me of RL inflation also ><

I rather you pay off your bills, since everything goes up, and save up for your retirement spending

Some renovations around the house, and parts for a quad boot supercomputer with 18GB DDR and 3TB emulated hard disk space, with 4 monitors and a desk to hold it all!

Where the heck are you checking out real estate? L.A.? :shok: You can get a very nice 2-3 story home with plenty of yard for $300-350k as long as you avoid the major cities and stick to the suburbs.

I would spend about $5k on an extreme computer gaming setup. Then a honda bike. Would save and invest the rest for future expenses.

Or for free if you look like mic jagger.

If I had a million bucks I would pay a tax lawyer 200k to make sure I don't pay any tax on getting the million bucks, and then no more capital gains tax either. Then I would put 200k into biotech and energy stocks, 200k into mutual funds, 200k into bonds, and 200k into some high risk shit that gains like 300% a year if it works out. At the end of the day I'd take myself out to dinner for a good days work well done, paying with the cash I make from my current job. I would keep working like nothing happened and 25 years down the road I would enjoy my retirement in Ireland.

Are there hot chicks in Ireland?

Listen to the song for the ultimate awnser to the question

Id get all the dollars turned into singles, and just start knocking people out with all of it. After that, I'd buy maybe a honda civic and supe it up. Then I'd buy drugs and eventually OD on heroin.

900k into savings, a really pimped out computer, a 350Z, and the rest to dick around with.

Nah, but I went there on vacation last year, and it was just plain awesome. I have been to a bunch of places in my life, certainly 90% of Europe, lots of places in Russia up to the Far East, North Africa, but Ireland does it for me.

The only downside is that their Internet sucks. I don't know what it is, they need to lay some more fibre optics or whatever, outside of major cities it's like 56k dialup all the way.

The people are awesome, the countryside is awesome, the climate is awesome in the Southwest. Jobs are a little tricky to come buy, it's mostly agriculture and tourism, but the upside is that there is plenty of opportunity for small to medium size businesses.

I wouldn't want to live near Dublin, but County Clare, County Kerry, or County Gallway would be my choices, in that order. I am activly looking for a job there, I'd even pay my own moving expensis for the right job.

There's that business opportunity right there. Lay a fibre from Dublin down to County Clare, hook everyone up with high speed Internet ..., I am off to visit those venture capitalists ...

If you move to Ireland though you get attacked by drunk leprichans
