Ignorance and Arrogance

YES a PT > BST
why? A BST is more versatile.. a pt is not.

And this fucktard mentality is why so many potential EXP camps go unused. A BST is as lot more limited in where they can exp compared to a PT, dumbfuck. It's not BSTs the general populous(including yourself,) are so one-track minded that they ignore all the available camps, just to go to ones that are written by "guides," or clamoured by the same dipshits that follow the same exact path.

People still goto dunes... which personally I think dunes is horrible for exp when you got other places with IT worms.

I've honestly never had problems or issues with bst. Hell, I even tried to lvl the job, I have it to 19, and I really respect the people who level the job, it's tough. If a bst is exping where I want to party, I move. I never counter camp EXP parties, I refuse to even if I am in a party and not leader. I have never had a bad expirence with bsts because I will talk to them in /tells to see what's up.

For example in KRT, I was lvling off of Dire Bats on drg. A bst comes down charms one of our bats and runs off. Later down the tunnel I see him with the bat and ask him if he could please not lvl off our exp mobs since we were there first. Turns out, he was using a bat to farm for eyes for Eye Cluster for O-hat. I wished him good luck on the drops and we both went on our way.

10 min later...

our party has a bad a pull this was before the new despawn update. We pull a scorp and it starts killing our party. We all zone, and the bst too. The scorp is still stilling on 3 of our party's corpses and isn't moving. The bst asked in a tell if he wanted us to have him move it. I of course said yes and he did just that. Charm then leave far away from our party saving us a lot of time and even exp.

The point is, there are better ways to work out issues than being childish and stupid. GTFO and goto WoW for kiddy crap.

Everyone pays to play, you're no different and definatally not special, Shaidalyn. Bsts can do some amazing things. Your inexpirence is tolerable, but not your ignorance and immaturity are not.

That "one" bad occurance. Empahsis on the word one. This does not even the score here. Notice how you're the only one that has brough up a issue with Surugata in this whole thread aside from Windaria/Shaid? Am I defending either one? Nope.

It happened yes but it's not really relevant to this specific topic.

I'm pointing out the fact that not many people even give a shit about a reputation on QCDN. I'm sure lots of people hate me, but it's kinda stupid everyone brings up a topic about a specific person or LS. If someone hates a LS they bring it up as often as possible, because they know everyone else will jump in and defend them. That is because they know everyone else hates them, and they know everyone will jump in to defend them because they feel secure knowing they wont look like total pricks. It's a bandwagon thing, say I hate gilbuyers/sellers, and the second I say that a dozen people are gonna agree with me.

How many of you people know her ingame? How many people of you know Suragata ingame? Just because someone doesnt care about opinions of other people doesnt make them a bad person. Sure, the majority of QCDN are bandwagon jumpers, the rest are like "oh, I heard about you, your respected on QCDN, I'm gonna kiss your ass."
Think about it, someone ask questions, people call you a newb, someone gives an opinion, they talk shit, because their opinion differs from yours. Thats fuckin stupid, basically I'm saying many people go by what other people say about someone and dont even bother getting to know the real person behind the text.

Yeah, I dislike Suragata from the one time I've interacted with him, but how many of you people have just jumped in and said "Oh, your a dumb bitch" "You're fuckin ignorant" "Oh, you've dug a hole too deep". In my opinion thats just lame, yeah, you may disagree with someone, point it out and leave it alone. Dont continually post shit about a specific person when you dont have all the facts. It just means you dont have anything better to do with your time!
I'm sure many of you have a life, but dont you have anything better to do? If someone pisses you off, ignore em, thats the end of it, you wont have anything to do with them ever again.

Anyone ever bother keeping their shit to themselves and not try to make it a public matter these days? I'm just wondering, what do you gain from this? I've always been fairly reticent, unless this is affecting people around me, or the people ask for an explanation. Can people not keep shit to themselves anymore, or you guys gonna be loudmouth assholes?
When I was with BoL, I was kicked from 7 parties total, because I was a BoL
member. BoL isnt as bad as everyone says, it was just pointed out everytime a BoL topic came up, that their evil, assholes, and generally bad people. Whose to say that? QCDN members? Competing Linkshells? Ironically, with all the people hating BoL, people still signed up near daily.

Reputation, what is it really? Is it people hating someone because they hate them too? Is it good deeds performed for those random people, that feel the need to let the world know? Cant people end things with a "thank you", or "/blacklist add", or dredge up stupid things like this topic. When people are dickheads to me, I dont flee to the Flameboards and post when someone hurts my feelings! I feel I'm adult enough to let things slide, until the next time.

Wow Shaid every word that comes out fo your mouth is shit... wow your a 62rdm so you can train everything in the zone w/o hitting yellow. hahahahahahahahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa omg so funny your so 1337.... i can train whole Gustaberg zone w/o dying by thw way, so im 1337.

I really do think absolutly noone likes you on this site you need to leave.... now.

i read this thread.. thought about replying and said no... it'd just be tossing out the same thing everyone in the world thinks of windaria... in all effect it's a post count +1... but i had to.

Windaria. you suck. shut up. leave qcdn. leave quetzalcoatl. leave FFXI. leave the internet. every time you hit the keys on your keyboard you make yourself look that much dumber. You beat out peregrine for village idiot.

bst has every fucking right to exp. a bst can exp in the middle of a mainstream exp zone and have every bit as much of a right as anyone else does to kill those mob. if he's there first and the pt wants to exp anyhow that's not his problem. if they don't like it there's always campsitarus. I have more respect for bst's leveling than those mindless jerks who kill all the level 50+'s exp mobs for skill ups and npc leveling cause they lack the brainpower to come up with a different idea for that.
I'm sure you suck at rdm and your gear was likely bought with the careful precision of the gilbuyer that you are. scum like you are the reason rdms have a bad rep. if you do one good thing in your entire life, for the good of the world i beg you, please, get yourself neutered before you pollute the gene pool.

Not so fast. I actually like Shaid now. Didn't know him/her too well before, but as I've always said, "Fuck Bsts."

That was before I leveled it to 21. Now I say, "Fuck those fucking fuckers!"

Yea you need to exp, yea you're a one person party, blah blah blah. Personally, when I leveled that god-foresaken job, I did it AWAY from exp parties! OMG! No way! Yea! I did! Yup! And ya know what? It wasn't hard at all! Still can't believe it? I'll let it sink in for a bit.

Althought Shaid action's were cruel and she rightly got what was coming, since every action has an opposite and equal one, I still agree with her view on that the goddamn bst should move away from the popular large exp spots.

I mean, come on. That's just plain rude. I'm not gonna go into Compton, sit at a popular hang out spot for the local black thugs and then say, "Pssh, I was here first." Seriously, common sense people. :coco:

So let me get this straight... You're posting on a flameboard to protest other people complaining about people and bad experiences in game? Which, by posting here, pretty much bumped the topic up a little while longer? The fact is, ffxi is a type of society and there's going to be jerks and there's going to be great people too. And just like in any kind of society, you can't walk around being a dink to everyone and think you're not going to get a "reputation." Likewise, there are people notorious in this game for being great at their jobs and for being exceptional people. There are two sides to every story, and frankly, if someone can be saved going through a bad experience by someone posting on a flameboard then that's as good a reason as any for them to tell their story here. If you just /blist people that irritate you, bully for you. But some people are interested in sparing other people the same grief. There will always be people to follow the herd and just hate someone they don't even know just because of something they've heard or read. But in this case, the proof is pretty obvious. Shaid or Windaria or w/e her/his name is hasn't really shown herself to be the victim here in the least. She has in fact, earned her unsavory reputation over and over again with every word she types.

And on another note...there's a reason why there is a Flameboard and a "Good Times" board and that they are two separate forum sections on this site. You want to see all the kudos for people who've helped out and things that have gone right? You're in the wrong section. Venting and complaining about things is what a flameboard is for. If it's not your cup of tea...Maybe General Discussion or Good Times? No disrespect meant, but I just can't see why if you find the flameboard discussion so distasteful, you'd be wasting your time here. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me...

It's just approaching things from the practical side. There are 1361961046 players in game. If one of them has a bad rep, then there is really no reason to give that person a try to find out for yourself, because you can just as easily grab someone else of whom you don't know anything. That new person could turn out to be an ass as well, but your chances are definitely better to go with someone who doesn't carry a bad rep from the start.

Between quotes such as "Perhaps I was giving him a hard time?", "I don't play this game to make friends", it really doesn't take a bandwagon to jump on to form one's opinion.

Yes, i hate her with a passion and love hating her.

isajeep, even though you may not realize it, but "love hating her" and "not liking her" are the same thing

But "love hating her" wouldn't imply he would want her to leave.

I suppose one could read it like that, but if the hate is strong it will linger long after the player is gone.

it's funny how he turns someone in, when he's breaking the ToS also, by using Windower. I play on PC, all I ever run is fraps.
... which incidentally is also in violation of the TOS, and in the very strictest sense a bannable offense.

Well, no. That would the same as saying running AIM is in violation of the TOS. Fraps doesn't do anything you can't do in regular FFXI, that is, if you're not recording videos. Print Screen, log out, Paint/Photoshop/Whatever, paste. You can get fullsize resolution screenshots that way as well.

Infact, no where in the TOS does it even mention barring third party applications, just "Commercially available cheat codes and cheat devices."

Do people actually read Terms of Service agreements?
