Backstory made short. Amazing cute girl in my Western Music History class. One of those girls you admire from afar, and think "Hey... I would love to get together with her"... but ya know it won't happen. Noticed her the first day of class and was just floored. Anyways... moving on.
Last week. I'm at work talking to one of the guys doing usher(I work at a movie theater). And whaddya know... she comes out of the theater next to us. She comes over to ask us something and stops, recognizing me. We talk for a minute and then she goes to do whatever. I was thinking... "Hey sweet... she introduced herself, rather than ignoring me." So I figure maybe I can talk to her in class.
Monday. Talk to her at the end of class... just small talk, but contact nevertheless. She actually hangs back a little so I catch up to her. ^^b
Today. Id been debating whether or not I'd be an idiot for going after her. But honestly, this is the first girl Ive met in a long time who makes me smile when I think about her(recently ended a 3.5 year relationship...'nother tale). She could be the biggest bitch, I don't know yet, just something about her. So I decide "Fuck it. I'm gonna be an idiot." At first I was thinking I was gonna chicken out, but then before class our eyes catch and she gives me a little smile and a wave... needless to say that made up my mind. After class I 'discreetly' make my way slowly towards the door... playing with my cell phone for like 5 min while she makes her way over. Do the small talk thing again... alright, good.... get outside... and ask her if she wants to go out for coffee tonight. She says sure. YES! So I get her cell phone number, give her mine.. and she says "Call me tonight." Ya.. definitely..
Walk to my next class... and look in my phone. No number.
Fuck!!! My phone likes to do this thing where it forgets I enter numbers, and sometimes it takes a few times. So now I feel like possibly the biggest dumbass ever. Either, by some stroke of luck, she'll decide to call me... or I'll have to wait till my next class on Friday amd apologize profusely for my stupidity. Godammit...
