Hey everyone!
I always thought that I'd never be able to come back to FFXI because it's been 2 years and I figured my character that I built up over 3 years would be long gone, but much to my surprise, he's still alive and well (even outlived the server...lol)
My in-game name is Daimen and I'm just wondering if any of my old Midgard friends are kicking around here; I'm not gonna be able to play again until maybe this weekend, but I'd love to catch up and what I'd really enjoy is someone to kind of fill me in on what I missed and what I should start working on and kind of re-introduce me to the game a bit. I do plan on getting all the new add-ons and everything ASAP.
I used to be a 75SAM/RDM/RNG/DRG/NIN with fairly decent gear that is all obsolete by now (see: Hagun) and now, much to my chagrin, I have to recap at least those..and the relevent subjobs to 45 (ha ha ha to me saying "yay I'll never have to touch WHM again!!), do a crapload of quests and acquire a whooooole bunch of new gear (I will never give up my Duelist's Chapeau +1 however obsolete it is, I worked wayyyy too hard for it).
I left with a decent amount of hard gil, so that should help me a little.
Anyway, if anyone remembers me or is willing to help a friendly player out who is willing to listen and help out anyway he can in return, that would be much appreciated
Oh, and hello Quetzalcoatl (that's another thing..that had to give us Midgard folk ANOTHER impossible name to spell, eh lol?)
