Im going to be entering google idol and once i finish my project ill let you all see it and promote it so you can vote 4 me!!!!
But i need some song ideas!!!

i have three song ideas that im thinkin about.

Black eyed peas- my humps

Gorillaz- Dare

Bad Company- Feel like making love

im gonna talk to my friend tomorrow whom i want to get in on this video. But i have to ask him if hes willing to get "internet fruity goofy" cause thats what kind of contest it is lol.
i cant imagine this dude dancin to any of these songs, hell no one probly can imagine me doin it XD.
but he will probly have song ideas, whats yours?

pussycat dolls "Dont Cha" being sung by a guy would be funny (possibly sad)
Sugar Hill Gang "Rapper's Delight" (classic)
Trace Adkins "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk"

But out of the three that you listed i would have to vote bad company so i can see you rocking the air guitar.
 
Can't go wrong with Gorillaz although my humps could be pretty funny/disturbing if you have a guy lip sycyning the girl's singing.

I'm feeling the old school Sugar Hill, so how about something else old school? First thing that comes to mind would be pretty funny... Too Much Booty - Soundmaster T. Do eeeet!

Instead of completely mornic humor maybe something that involves actual acting skill?
 
lol great choice in songs!
yeah it will be guys doing the syncing in the video if its a female song or not lol.
id go for the serious acting stuff, but they dont want that. its meant to be funny, the original song and artist went for the serious thing so why duplicate is basically what they mean.
 
I'm a diehard Gorillaz fan, Clint Eastwood is my fav but "Feel Good Inc." is so catchy I love that song too, or "Dare" It would be sooo cool if you did 1 of those. XD Bloodhound Gang would be great too if you did (don't know the exact name of the song) "Let's do it like they do on the discovery channel". Or form "One Fierce Beer Coaster" - "I wish I was Queer So I could get Chicks"

Well we just did hours of recording. And we have done two songs.
My humps was not done, it was attempted but because we dont know all the words and really do not want to take time to learn it, we abandoned that song. I couldnt move with that song anyway, nothing about it seemed right.

We did record,
Journey- Dont stop believing (this one was the most worked on of the two)

and second

Gorillaz- Dare (only two takes done, the 2nd take is a keeper, while the first song has like 10 takes from many different angles and types)

Working on copying to PC and cutting together at the moment!
 
having issues with the gorrillaz video because of the cd problem we had that took 45 min to resolve before taping.
BUT!
the journey video will be online and entered TONIGHT!!! i gotta say its fuckin amazingly the best thing ive ever filmed video camera wise, theres some parts that make me laugh my ass off too.
