It's actually real. I had some Nurses a while back discussing something similar to that. Was pretty neat. One had to change a bandage and she saw a bug or something climb out.

I've heard stories similar to that. Someone had an experience where you could see their little antennas sticking out before they pop through the skin. Nasty stuff!

That pic is actually a photoshop from a big old thread I made here years ago. The red spot was on my leg and I was trying to figure out what it was.

However,
 
considering the red following a vein I would have suspected sepsis. I was on watch for sepsis a few months ago.. was fun times. Either way, that lovely gem taught me about something I'd happily have never knew about otherwise.

The pic looks way too fake for me to be grossed out by it, even if its real. I just can't get it to fit properly in context so can't be grossed out.
 
Yeah, while I've seen way too many of those photoshops to be affected by those, the 4real shit freaks me the hell out.

It's a good thing I only live in Texas.
