Haha, took bout 15 mins but I can beat him pretty often now. The trick is to let him go first and watch his moves, then you go first and watch his counters. After awhile beating him is cake.

Well, I'll just stop now. if I play more I'm afraid I'll quit FFXI >.> That game is addicting.

Hrm.. i clicked new.. and when he dropped the pearls into his hand nothing showed up.. there werent any pearls to click. >.> so I clicked go and got a message that a script in the flash was causing my player to run slowly. >.> I x'd out of the page clicked the link again, clicked new again, same thing, no pearls. Oh well. Probably good I didn't get to play it.

I did the same thing. I think once you see the text for the directions, there should be "play" botton to select underneath the text. Choose that and I think you should be fine.
 
The trick I found is to "never" end up it being your turn with 2 rows of 2 pearls or two rows of 4 pearls. If you end up it being your turn with that in his hand, you automatically lose.

That being said, the game is close to being won when about half the pearls are gone from his hand.

So your first 2 moves set you up for the win normally, or make it easier normally.
 
lol, funny and interesting game, i can see myself playing for hours so ill just quit now^^
 
Won 3rd try...yup..just let him go first a couple of times..mimic it..it's all in odds n evens...need to leave three rows with 1 each. But I'll admit, I was sweatin fer a bit.

Still..saturday night...almost 2 a.m.....DAMMIT I want my ps2 back...parents are such a pain - even after 30 :evil:
