That's like saying who cares about posting that you got such and such ingame in good times because no one else cares except people you know, isn't it?

It's always good to remember the "good times" you had ingame, and even share it with the rest of the community, that way others can read a little positive into this game too rather than always looking at all the negatives.

Also a good way to say good bye to the person quitting whether you've known them or not, or even seen them around, that way sometime in the future you won't think to yourself: "I remember seeing this person everywhere. I wonder where they went to now?"

I like to start each and everyday by eating a bagel, spread with I-cant-believe-its-not-butter. Why? So that anytime someone askes me how my day is/was I can confidently reply, "Unbelievable"
 
Personally, I get more annoyed with the Auction forum then anything else, and I'm sure people who are actually looking to buy/sell rare items feel the same. Its very frustrating seeing your thread pushed to the bottom of the list because 10 posts are selling iron sheets, bamboo sticks, or other cheap ingredients. In the time it took to post one of these threads, you could have probably sold three stacks on the AH with the frequency some of these sell...

But yea, on topic...I've been critical of the good times forum before, but this I see no problem with, especially for a one time post.
 
hahaha jamal so funny but i agree.

also, if people actually QUIT and stayed out of the game, goodbye threads are fine. but the HELLO THAR I AM THE QUIT THE GAME and then return 2 weeks later is just fucking gay. 80% of the quitting threads or greater, people always came back.

that and people dont know what fucking forum to post them in despite there being guidelines at the top of the screen.

a lot of people dont know when someone quits and its nice to know.

I think enough people have said it already, but when you quit a game with so many friends its nice to give a formal thanks to all your aquaints and friends, for all the help and fun youve had, you cant thank everyone personally.
