DO me a favor. WHY is she bul shitting? Do you have any facts to back that up? Probably not, so instead of just making this assumption, try getting facts up.

I believe you Mar, your a very nice person. But there has been one person who totally lied to me, and a bunch of other people. The story was that we found out that this one person died. The dead person's friend told his girlfriend, and she told us. So we were sad, the girlfriend was extreamly sad and depressed for a bit.

What was the ending? He bullshited it. He didn't die, hell he was perfectly fine. He had a virus on his computer so he couldn't get on and decided to make up this story.
 
The bottom line is WSM has no idea what he's talking about and really just doing this for attention. I know, sounds like something you'd say to a 6 year old but it's true. Read most of his posts and they're pretty much antagonizing whatever he's responding too. I know you're just gonna go apeshit again after you read this so don't bother, we already know what you're gonna say.

As for believing what people post on internet, it really makes no difference if you believe them or not. If you do, respond however you see fit. If you don't it doesn't matter because if that person if for real I doubt they give a rat's ass if you believe them unless your a close freind. They've got a problem that THEY have to deal with and what you have to say is insongificant.

I read qcdn quite often and I don't post much unless it's warranted. That being said,

What the hell is your problem wsm? Why don't you take your bloated head into your garage and pound on it for awhile with a sledgehammer.

I know Marael very well, as I am also her "fiance" in game. You have no right to call her a liar or even fringe upon her reputation whatsoever. Our LS is very close and it goes beyond a mere game. And as you can see, we are all here to defend her. She's never disguised her epilepsy condition and disclosed that long ago when she first started the game. She may have posted in the flameboard, but her reasoning was made clear right from the get go.

If you're going to take cheap shots at someone who's in a really bad situation, you're picking the wrong person. You mess with her, you mess with the rest of her LS.

Frankly, I'm angry and disgruntled, but I'm going to end it here before i say things I regret. I would stake my whole FFXI career reputation on Marael, because that's how much I believe in her.

and Mar, if you read this, I'm praying for you. Get well soon.

Personally, i believe the fact that she has this disease, there are enough testimonials here to assure me of the fact.

On the other hand, to those who didn't follow the other thread where she claimed argus was called for help on on several occasions, there were people who posted there who are there for the pop every single time.

They never saw argus get called for help. That completely discredited her story. To add to the skepticism, she says her cousin lends her the gil to buy an 18 mil Peacock Charm.

I think there is enough room here for people to believe this has all been concocted(sp). The majority of the people who post here decided not to call her out, except for WSM.

Now he being a target of flames anyway, everyone is now jumping on his back for saying what a lot of people are thinking.

I understand that disease is a serious issue, but to someone who has already judged her from being caught in a lie(wether disease helped make the lie is not what i'm after here) then it is not a far jump to call her a liar for this thread.

When i first read this thread before any posts had been made, my first thought was bullshit. Plain and simple, i believed she had caught herself in a lie, and was making up another story to cover her ass. After following this thread for some time my opinion has changed.

Just a question to add also.

seeing as her disease caused her to have hollucinations(sp) about argus, is it possible that she could have had similar hollucinations about recieving gil from her cousin. She may have in fact purchased gil during one of her lapses, and in her mind convinced herself that her cousin gave it to her.

If this is the fact, i wouldn't expect her to come on and say so. I think the disease is more important than whether she bought gil on a video game. It would only cause more drama for her if it was to come out, and i personally wouldn't want anyone going through real life troubles, to come to ff troubles.

This really isn't a post that makes me feel comfortable hitting submit on, but there are two people being bashed for reasons that are not all together right.

Mareal being bashed by WSM about her illness affecting her thought process.

WSM being bashed by her supporters for having an opinion on the subject that is not to thier liking. I don't think he is too far in the wrong for not believing the whole story.

Anyways... I agree with everything you just said Meeze. I was keeping up with the other threads (see: Marael vs. Gilsellers) and I read them to thier entirety. I also wouldn't expect anything less to come from WSM, being that he is a childish moron. Beyond a flame, I could go foreward and post examples of him being a moron, but I'm not gonna. Ex = lazy.

I don't think what WSM sais was completely unwarrented. Some strange things have certainly been following Marael lately. I can say this though, there was a point in time a few months ago I thought I had woken up late for work, and systematically logged onto POL to begin looking for a party like it was my real job. So it's no surprise to me, a person who has no (known) illnesses can cross reality and fiction, even if just for a moment, that a person who has a mental affliction such as hers had her known reality altered in a state where she couldn't tell them apart, or started seeing things that weren't happening. In all honesty, I'd be willing to bank that when she thought this was happening (calling for help on Argus) she could have been having very vivid dreams. Maybe she fell asleep while playing (yeh, never done that before :roll: ) and it kinda stayed in her subconscience.

Stuff like that happens, and you're a real dolt if you're like WSM and can't imagine it because "dat shit dont happen ta me." And this comment is made in no direction to anybody.

Its been a fishy few weeks with Marael, I can agree with you there Meeze. But I'm going to put forth my hope in humanity that she is indeed telling us the truth, and not lying to hide her other lies.

We (CP LS) haven't speoken with Mar for awhile now... she took an indefinite leave of absence because of her illness, on her behalf i want to say thank you to those that actually do support her health, and her speedy recovery.


For the record, her cousin is real, she can't afford to buy gil, let alone 18 mil worth, but i won't debate this fact. She keeps the name secret, and has only told a few people (myself included and for the life of me i cannot remember his name :/ sorry) Now take this info for what you will, it is truth either way.

A lot of you don't know me. Some of you know me very well. Those who do know that I only say what I really believe and I don't give answers to questions when I'm not fairly sure of what I'm saying. I am a Crimson Pirate. I have been one for nearly as long as the LS has existed, and I will NEVER be anything else. This is what I know:

Acts is a man of great integrity. If people had FFXI jobs IRL he would be a PLD. Armi, Acts, Svina, Elcurago, Aidyn, Marael; I have known all of these people for over a year. I have known most of them through at least one personal crisis. A lot of the Crimson Pirates know each other IRL, and we are more like a family than it seems possible to anyone who has not seen us interact.

For those of you who are saying Marael is lying:
She is not. She really is ill. If she were not sick she would have posted on our LS board in the last few weeks, as she is a regular poster there. She has not. She told you all that she realized what her senses were telling her were not a reality in recent weeks. She then apologized. And some of you disbelieve her. That is understandable and I cannot blame you, because like many of you said, the internet is not a place where you should blindly trust everything you read. Those of you who have taken pleasure in responding repeatedly with cruel insensitivity and total immaturity though, do not deserve the oxygen you waste to keep your worthless carcass on this planet. I truly wish you the experience of being afflicted with what Mar is going through, and much more. Maybe then you will realize that there are real people that occasionally have real and sometimes even life-threatening problems behind the handles on forums like these.

For those of you who say Mar is a hazard to those around her and she should not be in a PT. In recent weeks you would possibly be right. She has said as much herself, and now that she has realized it she is doing everything she can to fix it. She isn't playing FFXI or any other game right now. She may never be able to again. Think of how you would feel if a doctor told you that you could never play another video game again in your life. You'd live, but that really would suck. That's a possibility she's facing right now.

If any of you have partied with her before she started having problems lately, you'd know that she was a more than capable NIN who could hold hate off of the most WS-happy players. She was definitely not a liability to a party.

Mar is normally a very good and dependable player, and she is also a good person who is always willing to help a friend in need. She has been having some very serious health problems lately and is trying to recover from them. She made this thread because she realized she had seen and done some things she hadn't believed she had, and had not seen and done some that she thought she did. She wanted to apologise to you for that. Take the apology or leave it, but there is no need for the cruelness.

The more unpleasant parts of this post are only meant for a very small number of you, and I think that most would know the members of that small number. For the rest, I apologise if you find this post unnecessary or offensive, as I am only posting exactly what I know and what I believe. For Mar, you are in my prayers and I hope for you a speedy and complete recovery so that you may fill the hole that is left in the spirit of our LS in your absence.
 
I don't know Mar, and never really met her in-game, so I only know her from the boards.

Yeah, it might very well be a lie, but does it really matter? we're all humans, and you should all show respect to eachother. Love your enemy, as the bible say (and no, I don't believe in God. I'm religion-free.... kind of). There is no reason to call Mar a lier unless she have done something to personally offend you, which I don't believe Mar have done to anyone posting in here. I prefer to be neutrall against everyone untill they influence me in weather a good or bad way.

She have told people in-game that she have status epileptic (sp?), so why call her a lier? geez -.- you people need to calm down with the accusations. Personally, I believe what Mar said in here is true. I do not think it's a lame excuse in order to avoid trouble. And even if it's a lame excuse, I see way worse on a weekly basis. I would actually go as far as to say that Mar is rather original and creative, and atleast know proper grammar and spelling. (eg. no U instead of YOU and now R instead of ARE)

Either way, hope you get better Mar ^^ Take a nice, well-earned break and come back to us with new strenght :P
 
I haven't known Marael that long, but I do consider her a friend, and I do believe her about her illness. She has not been on these boards, the CP boards, FFXI, or any other game, because she really did check herself into the hospital. Mar, I really hope you get well soon. And WSM, you never wronged me ingame, but fuck you for accusations like that. Get to know her first before you start making bullshit accusations.

With epilepsy you can't do anything when u get those seizures.But imagining things for a whole month is not related to epilepsy.You keep saying she's i'll and stuff... illness doesn't effect ur memory unless u are mentally retarded (Thats the only case mostly).Sorry but i don't like liars who make up stuff and then want ppl to belive that crap...and ppl supporting em on top of that.Kinda like dummies to me.But her peacock charm does existt.. and cousin does not exist so i wonder how the hell she got the 15 mil... :lol:
