You completely missed the meaning of that statement. All he had to say to save face was that he quit for the reasons he did. After getting to the point he was at and having to quit for family is a rough patch to go through in life, and not one that most experience.

Yes, you are quite your own poster. You have a mind of your own, use it. You are attacking Faytajr's point of view because it disagrees with Garvin's point of view (which also happens to be your own point of view). You are a hypocrite in this situation because, unless you attack everyone who disagrees with you, or you even fail to attack yourself when you condone others to break your beliefs around you everyday on here.

What meaning did I miss? The fact that you decided to go on and bash him because of the stuff he accomplished in real life, to go on breaking Flameboard Rule #2 over and over again? Sure he doesn't know how you play sam, but you don't know how he plays either, to belittle him just because he isn't quite as high of a level as you are is completely biased and very idiotic. The statement you rebuttled it with made it valid. You may have been being sarcastic or even lieing in it, but your statement validated his post. He said you haven't been to the parties, you haven't been in the groups who does these things. You rebuttle with "so what if i didnt go to the parties, or have those friends." So what isn't a very good arguement. Simply stating it had no validity instead of validating it your self would have had a much better effect and would not have been included among the idiotic postings in which you asked for.

Had they asked for what they had said like you did, they would have been shown what they did wrong. The difference between you and them in this whole thing is you asked, so I decided to give you what you asked for.

As for the statement you don't understand is that even though you attacked just this one person on his drug abuse, it could still be considered hypocritical to treat others who openly admit to abusing any type of drug any better then him. The only difference between him and them is he let it get to far. Maybe when he got hooked on meth he didn't know what he was taking, he could have just been at a party and someone handed him some, and he didn't ask questions, I've seen many meth addicts who have become addicts because of this. After one dosage of meth you can become highly addicted to it, it's almost scary how fast meth takes over your life even though it isn't what you wanted ni the first place.

Besides, why are you only condemning him for his past actions, why aren't you congradulating him on overcoming that addiction, on being strong enough to stay sober from now on for himself and the ones he cares about.

There are many people in this thread who broke that rule, I just stated it out to you, but you are not the first person i showed it to in this thread.

I find it difficult to conratulate someone who acts out towards others in the way he did. Overcoming addiction is a grand accomplishment, one that should warrant a sense of pride that no mere flame can tarnish. Not so in this case. He let a small comment get to him, one that shouldn't have even mattered.

And I don't treat other drug abusers any better. If they're as open as Fayta was, of course I'll attack them. Most people don't even know what drugs do to your body, just that they feel good. And most people have never seen what happens to people on drugs. Forget the physical stuff, mentally your brain isn't yours anymore. You aren't stealing cause you think it's a good idea, you're stealing because you need that next hit.

Me myself haven't been hooked, but I have friends from childhood who are/were addicted. I've lost many friends to them, and probably going to lose more.

A group of my friends went to get some blunts and one of our friends stayed home at my house. Came back he had blown his brains out.

Hindsight is 20/20 and looking back he left clue after clue. But in the end he felt he couldn't get off the drugs himself and took the "easy" way out.
