As of a couple of weeks ago, Gigant Squid was selling for a minimum of 2500 per on the AH. Because of a few impatient people, the price is falling and is now below 2000 and continues to fall. I haven't even been able to sell my squid for 2000 because some jerks are trying to outsell everyone by 5-10-15-20 gil. Sometimes by even a few hundred. You're making sushi chefs very happy and at the same time, killing the fishermen who supply them. If you want to keep driving the price of squid down just so you can sell them quickly, eventually you're not going to make shit off them either. So please, give us hard working fishermen a break and stop being so fucking anal about selling your squid.

Lol, dude...it's called supply and demand. prices on everything go up/down depending how how many people are buying vs. how many people are selling.

Did you take any kind of economics class in HS/College?
 
well if you want to sell faster, cut lower than their price. crying about it on forum not gonna make those people sell higher.
 
Not a flame, but take up cooking and turn yer fish into sushi :) That way you can turn your fished up fish into sushi for profit :) (hopefully)

Tho I do agree with you... Sometimes it sucks... yay to the player based economy.

Yeah I have to agree with Supply and Demand, however I have come across people undercutting me on selling a popular item and I would have to wait weeks until the item was not in supply for a quick sell at the going price, or undercut them.

Yeah the movie is just this side of suck. But the book is awesome.

On topic, unfortunately people are too impatient to play the market. Some would rather get some gil fast than wait for the going rate. Which sucks for everyone else, but there's not much you can do about it but grin and bear it. It isn't going to change unless the person or people doing it deplete their stock or decide they're willing to wait for them to sell at ah price.
