Imperial Standing Desperation <Help Me Out>

Right as my highest job with this character is level 30. I was wondering if there's anyway on Vana'diel I can get Imperial Standing points? I'm currently 19PUP and therefore looking to get my 2nd upgrade. I can afford all the materials but I can't afford forking out 250k per mythril piece (that was the price last time I looked). Is there anyway I can get these without spending 750k on them? Any help would be great.

Thank you.

The easiest way is to talk to a gate guard and have him give you sanction and go party in the new area's, but those are all lvl 65+ so that wouldnt do much good for you... thats the only way i kno, srry.

*wanders off to spend the next 3 weeks levelling all jobs to level 10 and crystal farming*

God damn i'm going to be bored for the next month or so :(

You can get some Mythril pieces from quests... how many do you need?

3 of them. Bear in mind these quests need to be soloable for a 30war at max. Either that or ones people wont mind helping me on as my linkshell is fucking useless.

There are some quests here that can give you a Mythril Piece, also I belive you can get a Mythril Piece once you complete the Lure of the Wildcat missions.

:edit: changed link to one with a walkthough

I used the "Lure of the Wildcat" piece towards my first upgrade. It's damn hard to get these upgrades. I'm definately NOT getting the final one at lvl 30. No chance of me getting a gold piece there.

How do I get that site to actually show me what to do with each quest?

yea I relised mystertour sucked so I changed the link, scroll down the page and they have quests listed somewhere.

Figured it out. Not many I can seem to do though. Looks like farming and buying the pieces. Oh well wont be levelling for a while then :(

If you have someone from your linkshell who avidly exps in the new zones, they'll fly through IS. Could always ask them.
