Improving luck?

Does anyone know if there is a way to improve luck/drop rates outside of lvling thf to get TH? I've heard about white rarab tails, 4-leaf mandragora buds... but does anyone have any proof? Oh, and since people seem to be on a flaming kick today, I'm only asking a question to either confirm or debunk these rumors I've heard so don't start saying how much of an idiot I am.

lol I dont know if the food rumors are true... I tried Lucky Egg once and saw no change in drops.

Sucks that you are required to level THF to farm... but thats how it is.

There is a parser with 100 bird kills that I saw awhile back.

Reg drop rate was like .16 better with lucky egg.

That was the only enhancer that was found.

Hahah...Superstitions, well you could say that I live and die by them. I really dont know about drop rates improving but...

I always try and keep 2 slots open for both of these. Recently Postnobills and myself were doing Rank 5, well anyways go through Beadeux and Davoi no major problems then...Oz! Everythings fine til i check to see how many powders/oils i have left, What??!?! No Tail or 4 leaf I think to myself...not 30 seconds later all hell breaks loose...and after a lil Warp Scroll i pop up in Bastok of all places, poisoned and dying....make that Dead...

20 mins later, with Tail and 4leaf, we're back in Oz and basically flew through no problems, snatched up rank5, and got Lambert later that night...So say what you will about these lil token items but i gotta have em on me or i'm naked ...Post on the other hand, eats the 4leafs like there going outta sytle.
