Government in Indiana met up today to discuss Daylight Savings time in Indiana. We don't have daylight savings time..;_; (stupid cows..) And I hope we DO get it, I wanna sleep in an extra hower

Screw that we need to never change time. Only Arizona, Hawaii, and Indiana don't change for daylight savings. We rock. Just remember you will only be able to "sleep in" for 6 months and then you'll have to wake up "earlier" for 6 months.

As for the history and why Indiana doesn't observe it follow this link:
http://www.standardtime.com/

Basically it is good for buisnesses but bad for farmers.

Saskatchewan also doesn't do the daylight savings time thingamajooger

lol, saskatwean is as backwards as the newfies are drunk... this is coming from a manitoban, take it as you will. >,>

and daylights savings is over-rated, you lose an hour of sleep then gain... looooooooose... gaaaaaaain... don't even notice/care about changeover anymore... just show up an hour early or late for work in the morining.

I went to college in Indiana at Purdue and I liked the fact that the time never changed. What I didn't like, was that you can't purchase alcohol on Sunday from the store, but you can get it at the bar? WTF? Never understood that.

Daylight Savings time is a great example of cultural relativism.

No, I'd say a good example of cultural relativism would be college profressors having mental circle jerks in the form of "scholarly journals" where they release pent up postmodern frustration in literary ejaculation, but I just have problems with the relativism argument, at least the extensions made from it.

That law also applies in Rhode Island. I've heard conflicting information on why that law exists.
